1) We beat the Broncos.

2) The Broncos beat Tampa in Tampa by three possessions.

3) Tampa beat Detroit in Detroit.

TLDR: It might be less likely than you think that we run into a brick wall in Detroit.

I just want to see the defense against a real QB. What we're doing feels good right now, but will feel much better if/when we clobber a capable passer. It's really hard to ascertain how good this defense really is against the likes of Nix, Brissett and the duo of Thompson and Boyle --- a QB who hasn't even been with his respective team for a month. Nix Thompson, Boyle and Brissett have thrown for a combined 1 TD this year. Against competition like that, it's almost like preseason.

Now, all that being said, I expect us to clobber Goff. My only concern about the defense is the run D. Even with Murph and Leo in, our run defense has shown some cracks. Will it be able to hold against a QB that is a threat through the air? Once again, I don't think it'll be a huge issue, but it is certainly worth monitoring. I'm cautiously optimistic and excited about the game against the Lions.

I think most people are just excited to see what this defense can do against a real threat. Like Goff, or hate him, there is no denying that he's miles better than anything we've faced this season, he will be a great measuring stick.

Have to say - I'm less scared of the Lions game than I was 2 weeks ago.

If we can just get K9 the F back, have him stay healthy and establish a running threat in the first half of games - well, we'd be doing better.

More scared of the coach than I am the team! LOL.

I couldn't give two sh*** who they have played. 3-0 is 3-0. The "We won, but" crowd is hilarious. But to each his/her own.
Not gonna' apologize for doing what they're supposed to do, beat the teams in front of them. Stack up those W's now before the tough stretch starts.

3 Touchdown win and didn't give up a single touchdown. I don't care who they play, that was domination. Not trying to sound like an a** but what is this obsession with downplaying WINS? I will never understand it.

The defense really showed out yesterday. The dolphins had several opportunities in great field position one being at our five yard line. They didn't give up a TD, in years past that would have been what got the opposing team back in the game. My biggest concern right now isn't even missing Walker, its the O-line. Anthony Bradford needs to GO, put the rookie in he cant be any worse. Stonehands did well yesterday but he isn't the answer. Lucas is obviously not a long term solution with his health issues (pains me to say) so why not go and get Bakhtiari for help. Our offense has showed flashes of just how dynamic it could be with great protection. Get Geno some time and we are winning no matter we are playing.

-- "You play to win the game". This isn't golf, there are no handicaps to adjust for quality of opponent. It only affects your perception of a team. Are we this good, or are the other QBs that bad kind of thing. But we have 17 opportunities to post a W. Reaching the post season is based on how many of them you accumulate. Take them and run with it. Our problem in recent years was we didn't win these games. And we had to pull upsets to get to .500. Now imagine we win the games we should, and split the tough games. THAT is how you get into the playoffs.

Level of competition does matter if we're trying to predict how this team will perform down the stretch, but yeah, devaluing wins in the NFL is dumb.

This league has outrageous parity. Clown shows like the Panthers are capable of laying a blowout on another team with little warning, as we saw Sunday.

No wins are given. Every team is a difficult opponent. This is the pinnacle of football.

Keep your head down and just enjoy our record to date of 3-0. Smile and wave boys , smile and wave.

On any Sunday (Monday or Thursday) any team can be beat.

The national media won't give your team a punchers chance with their predictions, Detroit could be overconfident.

Given that 30 other teams are also having challenges with their lines, yet none of them have signd Bakhtiari, I'm guessing he isn't the player he used to be.

Any team can be knocked off at any time. Over these first 3 weeks, the league as a whole has had quite a few shockers.
It's not easy to in a game in the NFL. Stack em up.
