No. That only applies when a player is cut with future guaranteed earnings and he plays somewhere else. There were no guarantees remaining with Adams. The Seahawks are cap accounting for all the money they previously paid him that hasn't been accounted for yet. Teams shouldn't get cap relief for that.Do we get any money back on the cap due to him getting an other contact? I’m guessing no but not 100%
