Honestly I'd rather see the game played under dry conditions, manos a manos. Turnovers just worry me too much. Despite what folks say about us being used to the wet conditions (You could say maybe Jermaine Kearse? UW?) but I don't buy into that. Theoretically, the ball should be just as wet for us.

Side note of possible interest; Our owner is of course a Multi-Billionaire with no doubt connections in high places. H.A.A.R.P. anyone?

That would be cool, no? I would just hope that they understood the theory stated above as well.

Easily my favorite comment in the thread yet. :16:

HAARP has been closed.

I did hear something about how he made a call to Asgard earlier this week.

From our side of the state it appears that weather front is moving in a day or so early. High clouds and cooler weather already when it was forcast 89 or so today.

I doubt weather will affect either team as both are used to playing in the rain. Tho September is normally the best weather month of the season for the West Coast its looking like after this weekend its fall for sure.

Maybe Rice with haul in the 60-yard game-winner with .00 on the clock, and as he hits the end zone, a huge bolt will crash onto the top of the tower behind the Hawks Nest, followed by an ear-shattering BOOM!!!! Ok, Hollywood wouldn't even want that one.

In reality if that actually happened, it'd be followed by "Flag for holding, repeat 4th down".
Actually, I think it would be an illegal substitution penalty, wouldn't it? ;)

Yeah, it'd be some kind of flag, but I get what you're saying. I was mainly illustrating how it seems more often than not that we'll make a spectacular play for a TD, and even if it's on the other team, it just ruins the moment..."oh, there's a damn flag!". It just deflates the spontaneous excitement. I HATE that! :)

the eastern part of the state is being affected by a different system than the one scheduled to arrive tonight/tomorrow morning. everythings still in the cards.

...A VIGOROUS LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BRING SHOWERS AND SCATTERED
THUNDERSTORMS TO WESTERN WASHINGTON SUNDAY INTO SUNDAY NIGHT...

A BIG CHANGE TO THE WESTERN WASHINGTON WEATHER PATTERN WILL UNFOLD
SUNDAY. LOW PRESSURE OFF THE OREGON COAST SUNDAY MORNING WILL LIFT
NORTHWARD BRINGING A CHANGE TO UNSETTLED WEATHER ACROSS WESTERN
WASHINGTON. A STRONG MARINE PUSH IS EXPECTED AHEAD OF THIS SYSTEM
AROUND LATE MORNING OR MIDDAY SUNDAY PRODUCING A BURST OF BREEZY
SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS. SECURING LOOSE ITEMS LIKE GARBAGE CANS AND
PATIO FURNITURE IS RECOMMENDED. THOSE ON THE WATER IN WATERCRAFT
SHOULD BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS OF THE RAPID ONSET OF WINDS.

THE AIR MASS ALOFT WILL BECOME UNSTABLE DURING THE DAY SUNDAY.
MONSOON MOISTURE OVER THE NORTHERN GREAT BASIN WILL ALSO BE PULLED
INTO THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST. THIS COMBINATION WILL RESULT IN
WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS. GENERAL RAINFALL
AMOUNTS FROM NOON SUNDAY THROUGH MIDNIGHT SUNDAY NIGHT WILL RANGE
FROM A QUARTER TO A HALF INCH ACROSS THE AREA. HOWEVER...SOME
THUNDERSTORMS COULD PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN AMOUNTS OVER AN INCH
IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. THIS COULD RESULT IN LOCALIZED PONDING OF
WATER ON ROADWAYS AND MAY OVERWHELM DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.

Yes this is true les, but Bay area rain has nothin' on Seattle rain. It's more like misty fog. I actually cried when I drove over the pass into Oregon on my way up here and got to see real rain again.

I'm not real sure real rain if what they have in Seattle. I've always found that most Seattle rain is so light if falls through the weave of your clothes. Drowns you but your clothes are still dry. lol

Of course you were in the rain belt for many years so you do know what real rain is.

No chance of game delays. Russell has prepared for this and will hold off the lightening. Except for his passes, which will be lightening sharp!

The field. It would play into the types of games the 49ers excel in.
