Tampa is a good team and likely a top 3-4 seed. Defensive depth is atrocious and is an enormous area to upgrade this offseason. Especially in the secondary. Pritchett should be cut this afternoon and I’m not even being hyperbolic. He isn’t an NFL player. Bunch of dudes otherwise who shouldn’t even be camp bodies got exposed today. Still fine moving on from Woolen this offseason, grab a stud DB in round 1-2 this draft.

Darnold is a top 10 guy, very unlucky bounce off the helmet. Kupp is alright but JSN needs a genuine #2 this offseason to compliment him.

Run game finally got going which was good to see.

Team needs to figure out why they can’t win at home anymore.

I think they have a good #2 in Horton/Young they just need more reps, I think by the end of the season they improve by a lot.

Hard to tell from the broadcast, but it looked like our zone was terrible. Dunno if we're built for man without Spoon & Love, but the gaps were atrocious.

this defense isn't a top 5 defense maybe not even a top 10 defense. Mike has work to do. No pass rush and garbage secondary. can't give up 38 points at home. Need to find another level because this isn't going to get it done.

Hell, Tampa is a solid team. Hawks played with a ton of backups on defense today. Hate it if you want, that’s a tall task. Baker is a gritty QB.

This was a heck of a game. It sucks that Sam through that late pick. It looked like he was throwing into the ground. Credit the Bucs for bringing pressure. All in all, Darold had a heck of a game.

How much bad luck can that guy have?

I'm sure if he could do it all over again, he would just say "F*ck it" and drop down to take a sack.

This is like the 2nd time where he's tried to throw the ball away and shenanigans occurred.

They are a mid level team. They will be good but they just don’t have the depth to compete for real. I think Sam is great. But they can’t call plays like they did in the first half.

I think they are a year away from possibly competing for a ring. They just have to many weak players on D and offensive line.

Only thing I can say is this :

I don't think they'll use the escape clause in Sam's contract after this season. Just a hunch.

Darnold showed why he’s not elite. He’s good and cracking into great territory. He’s not Him. We need a better defense and then he is good enough to get us there. He is not the put the team on his back guy.

No he's not nor should he be. I mean that was the whole point of acquiring him : So he can be the PG where the supposed "Strength" of this team was the Defense. That he almost pulled a Josh Allen out of this game shows that he has a higher ceiling than many of us think.

I believe this team still needs a lot of retooling in certain spots on this team, because this was a pile of failure in my eyes... If this game was in Tampa and it ended with the same score I could swallow the lose, but this was horrible...
