Now remember in that NFCCG when McCarthy coached so conservatively, frittered away a chance for a complete blowout, and lost to the comeback Seahawks?

I don't believe that at all. A good play caller would see a team that got 10 wins with a rookie HC despite Grubb's college offense that created more pressure for Geno and only made it tougher on the oline.

As for MacCarthy.... Eeww gross

I don’t think the league views Grubb as stifling the offense overall like people on here who are forcing fault on everyone but one person. They struggled in the red zone for sure. Across the board though the offense was largely similar to last year big picture. Between the 20’s we moved the ball pretty well. Geno had a ton of yards

McCarthy went 11-16-1 in his last 2 seasons with Rodgers. And that was before Rodgers' ego completely overshadowed his talent.
