Thoughts on Cassius Marsh

Marsh is a career backup & special teamer. He is a tweener, not strong enough to start at DE, and not fast enough to start at LB.

*edit* He is probably barely fast enough to play LB, but he would have to be extremely instinctual, and well versed at playing LB. He isn't.

If Irvin does move on, I've seen it mentioned a few different places that Kam should get considered at the the SAM spot with McCary taking over at SS. I actually like the idea. His coverage responsibilities at SAM would be reduced, a good thing, and he just might excel at pass rushing. I remember him blowing up Eric Winston in 2013 and can't help wondering if he would make a good edge rusher.

Wouldnt be the worst idea to be honest. I think Kam would be amazing always being in the box

What about KPL? Is he just depth at this point, or could he step in and take over for Bruce? I don't remember him being too splashy, but he could end up being pretty good.
