How do you propose STH go about selling only to fellow 12s? There isn’t a mechanism for filtering by fanbase on Ticketmaster.

It’s not always possible to find local 12s who want to go/ can afford to go, especially for those of us who live in other states.

Obviously, STHs here on the board could offer them here, I’m asking about the ones who aren’t here.

I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve sold my tickets in the last 27 years(didn’t make a penny). I even sold them once to a friend who was…a 9er fan(ohhhh noooooo)
Every game there are tickets for sale and every game Hawk fans decide not to buy them(various reasons). If someone wanted the seat taken by a 9er fan they most definitely could’ve had them.
And if you didn’t know, on line resellers don’t let you discriminate and sell to only Hawk fans.
I’ve had many years I couldn’t give my tickets away…not even the “real” fans wanted them…for free.
For as upset as the OP is I wonder if he made the effort to get tickets and show up.

So I guess be big mad at me and all the other STH’ers for not calling you and offering tickets to you, the most loyal fan….now gtfo lulz
He has season tickets and will not sell them to non seahawks fans.

Oh and I don't take friends or family to a game that are not seahawks fans. Why would I do that to my team?

Similar to the other 119 teams who play in a Big 4 sports league, if the Seahawks want home fans at the games, they should provide a better product on the field. I'm also a fan of the Detroit Pistons and Miami Marlins: even the opposing fans don't want to be at those games.

Regardless, I've always held the belief that the fans are extremely overrated in regards to how well the team plays. I'll bet empty seats or seats filled by opposing fans mostly just embarrass the owner. The players probably don't really care all that much.

What if I take a friend or family member that is a fan of the opposing team, am I allowed.

Maybe the other fans are so faithful to their team they are willing to pay more to watch them…a true Hawks fan could also pay more to watch right?

Opposing fans in mass is a bitter pill but as Sutz said…winning will fill the stadium with all the Hawks fans that couldn’t be bothered attending when the team was mid.

Funny how 12’s love to invade other stadiums but rage when it happens here.

Side note my section had a lot of 9’er fans and other than being loud they were surprisingly respectful and for the first time in years I didn’t notice any altercations. Maybe the 12’s have lost their fight…lulz
Nobody really cares that they are here, that’s expected.

It’s how they get here that folks have an issue with.

I don’t have season tickets but if I did and couldn’t use some I’d most likely give them to known Seahawk fans before I sold them to the opposition, EVEN IF I had to take a $ loss.

On the other hand, I know season tickets holders here in Houston and there in Seattle, and some of them only attend a couple games a year and use the resale money to finance the games they do go to.

In today’s world, a very good portion of season tickets for all sports are actually owned by resellers and it’s very unfortunate IMO. Not only does it provide a way in for the opposite fans, it makes buying tickets for the home fans very expensive, out of financial reach for many.

Are people aware that the Seahawks hold back official tickets and sell them using dynamic ticket pricing via Ticketmaster? Seattle was the first team in the whole league to do it in order to maximize revenue not caring about who bought the seats.

It is no different than fans selling at market value and it goes not to Seahawks fans, but the highest bidder. So why should individuals care when the organization doesn't??

Do people know that the team has massively increased pricing over the last several years

Do people know that all games used to have the same price, but the 49ers game was four times as expensive as the upcoming Arizona game?

The GB game and 49ers game will cost many STH more than 40% of the total season ticket package.

So for 60% of the ST you can watch 7 out of 9 home games.....

Why are people blaming fans when these policies and rates by the team is what causes much of this.

I sold my tickets using a third party site. I lost money on the tickets. Selling tickets isn't the money grab that many think it is

I'm not a STH. I will say that while watching the game on tv, the enemy fans were very noticeable. Both in sound volume and with the amount of red that was seen. I don't like to see that.

Well, I bought tickets on the resale market to see us play in Santa Clara.
I assume they were from a 49ers STH since they were for less than face value.
I don't know how you'd only sell to fans of the home team. I'm know I'm not planning a trip to Seattle & waiting until the week of the game for a poster & STH to decide they can't go & offer them up here.
Maybe a sticky thread, started before the season opener, for every specific game looking to buy or sell tickets would help. Or maybe a separate forum dedicated to buying/selling?

The way I see it, if you own them you can sell them to whomever you please.

If you can't handle visiting team fans in the stands you've got bigger issues.

Key drive on offense in the 4th quarter and fans are chanting seeaaaaa haaaawwwwks. Like c'mon, if they false start at that moment of the game the drive is likely dead. Common sense.
