I was curious if anyone here had some insight as to what became of the green jerseys that were worn for one game in 2009 vs Chicago?

I’ve seen three of the jerseys worn in that game come up in private collections (Deion Branch, Nate Burleson and Mike Teel’s sideline worn jersey). I’ve heard a rumor that one private collector bought the majority of them, but I haven’t been able to determine if that was true or not. I’ve contacted the team’s equipment manager Erik Kennedy, former pro shop employees and the team’s uniform tailor, but no one seems to know where these jerseys ended up. So I would love any help in tracking these down! They’re the white whale or sorts among Seahawks game worn jersey collectors.

Wow, that's a good one. I think I burned them out of my mind to be perfectly honest, LOL. But from a purist collector perspective?

Pretty cool.

Wish I had never seen those again, some things should stay dead. They should put the green unis they have now in the same landfill, lol.

I was at the stadium and I couldn't tell who the players were. From any distance the white and green just blurred together. Awful.

I’m with @AROS on this.

One of the ugliest jerseys ever, but probably worth trying to get ahold of if you’re a collector of the obscure.

Best o 🍀 luck

I actually like the current action green, and I’m aware that I’m in the minority, but that particular rendering is hideous as far as I’m concerned.
I’m thankful that it went away as fast as it did. (Along with the “steel blue” or whatever it was called).

I have a Patrick Kerney one I bought at the pro shop for 5 dollars. They are terrible but not nearly as bad as the action green baby shit colored ones we have now....5 dollars would be too much to pay for one of those.

The Wolf Greys were terrible, and yes I get I am in the minority. They always looked liked dirty whites, uniforms that needed to be washed. I always said, if you are gonna go grey, then go grey! Not this half-ass grey white that just looked, well, yuck.

It's like the "Bone White" Rams uniforms. Just, flipping, AWFUL.

Okay I was never a fan of the Wolf Grey’s either, which gives me pause for our rivalries uniforms. Yes they have the jazzed up numbers with little “12’s” and the sound waves reverberating on the shoulders, but the retail versions I’ve seen irl just look like dirty Wolf Grey’s.

At least they can’t be much worse than the Cardinals tortilla jerseys

If you look around the stadium on game day I'll bet you 90% of the folks wearing the green are female. 99% of folks who complain about green jerseys on the internet are male.

Canadian opinions don’t matter.

Thanks for your participation though.
