Vontaze Burfict didn't have great tape. Didn't look fast, made tons of mistakes, went for dirty hits instead of making easy tackles, and was penalized frequently, particularly for personal fouls. He started his final college season a touted all american, and ended it on the bench after his coach just couldn't take it anymore. Very similar to Aaron Curry in Seattle, but slower. He was VERY over-rated to begin with, and then ran something like a 5.0 forty at the combine to go along with some severe attitude problems.
Funny enough, Cincy got some production out of him last year. Playing behind one of the best D-lines in the NFL probably helped.
There isn't a Vontaze Burfict this year. The closest might be Ogletree in the sense that Ogletree is a touch over-rated and he's had some off the field trouble, but Ogletree is several magnitudes faster and was never a bonehead on the field like Burfict was. And yes, Cincy might draft him. Not an uncommon projection at the moment.
