This was a GREAT weekend in Washington and Seattle sports.

Mariners take 2 of 3 from Atlanta in an amazing comeback, WSU upsets the #19 team in the country on the road as 17.5 point underdogs, the Huskies tow the line in an expected blowout win, and the capper was that beautiful Hawks win on MNF. Just fantastic.

It was nice to see the excitement the M’s players had with that homer to put them in the playoffs. I’m not a fan of the M’s but root for them when they don’t play the Yankees. Teams better not sleep on them. Good pitching really helps in the post season.
