Zabel: Day one starter at guard. Aggressive and finishes blocks. A

Ewamurri: What a steal here. Absolute beast. Slots right in opposite Love and can move around. A+

Arroyo: Lots of mixed opinions here but he is going to be GREAT in this scheme. Stretches the field with great hands. A-

Milroe: Another divisive pick. Immediately steps in as a Taysom Hill type with a ceiling of Lamar Jackson. I LOVE it at 92. A+

Mills: GREAT pick here. Dinged for injury but apparently will be ready for camp. Zach Allen comp. A-

Horton: Another great pick. Again dinged for injury but if healthy, he's the immediate WR3 and a great compliment to JSN and Coop. A

Ouzts: Well, we got our FB! Brady Russell on the outs? B

Cabeldue: Another GREAT late round pick. Athletic mauler that projects as a guard. Will challenge Haynes. A

Martinez: Just keeps getting better. Fantastic pick. Dude is a hammer. 71% of his yards came after contact. A

A/A+ overall. Just an incredible draft by John and Mike. I am so stoked for this team and this BETTER fill the seats with 12s again. Idk how you don't come away from this draft elated.

zabel will power the line, unlike TOmlinson who sucked with only 65 pass blocking and even lower 59.7 run blocking.

I hope so. Seems like it rarely happens for us. It would be nice if he came in and had a rookie season like Dominic Puni did for SF last season. There is an almost identical comp for Zabel and that's Graham Barton last season. I think Barton's going to be a good one and he didn't suck his rookie season but he didn't exactly light it up either.

So I'm hoping for solid with flashes that just gives you that feeling that he's going to be a really good one.

For an O lineman to come in and not stink is pretty good. I read an article outlining the frequency of O lineman drafted and starting right away and the amount of guys coming in right away and being good was surprisingly low.

Draft what can’t be coached and coach up the deficiencies that allowed you to draft them.. Solid A in my book!

Over time I will grade this draft by splitting it into four parts.

1) OL. Zabel, Cabeldue, Richman.

2) O-Weapons. Arroyo, Horton, Ouzts, Martinez, White lll.

3) Defense. Emmanwori, Mills.

4) Milroe.

Like most, I give this draft an A out the gate and don't see that grade falling even if only half pan out in the long run.
If the 3 or 4 with college injuries can heal and transition to the pro game and they can coach Milroe up, this could be the best Seahawk draft ever.
I think this will be one of the trickiest roster cutdown to 53 ever for John.
I could see more young vets (known quantities) put on the practice squad and a majority of the rookies making the final 53 to protect them from being poached. A couple may start the season on IR.
It's too early to crown this class as best ever but I see a lot of potential in the groups above. Even our UDFA's hold a handful of interesting prospects.

I do not ever remember a Seahawk draft that carries so much hope & excitement over each day including day 3.
For the first time ever it feels kind of safe to count our chickens before they hatch, even if the talley isn't perfectly accurate.

Not only am I torqued with this particular draft class, but also am pleasantly surprised at the amount of their collective play experience.
There's a lot of player rotation in college games, so there's not a whole lot of time to hone their individual skills.
Not saying they won't have some trials & tribulations wading into the NFL professional arena, but getting a lot of reps in college is preferable to coming into the league still wet behind the ears. B+
