This game is huge, just huge. My body is reacting as if it were a playoff game...getting up at 4AM. If the Hawks win today, I like them in the NFC. If they don't, well, theyll scratch and claw but the talent on IR is too much to overcome.

The teams at a crossroads identity wise. In 2011 and 2012 the team changed its identity midway through the season, and I expect that to happen today. The Hawks are forced to adapt because of their injuries.

Were going to see what the teams made of today.

I am hoping they carry the 4th quarter momentum into this game.

Another thing I like to hear from Pete is that they had a very good week of practices. Kam will be in this game as well, but no Bane. Last week after Bane went out the others were able to cover for him, but today will be a much tougher task.

I feel good about our chances.

I feel positive today, but I was watching Rain City Redemption this morning.

This will be tough, but the only thing that scares me about KC is the pass rush. Otherwise they are a pretty good matchup for us.

The pass rush is why I am worried. I feel like Blitzer right now because I know what the implications of a loss today are. It'll be a close game and I feel we'll win, but it'll be another ugly game.

Since divisional realignment, the Seahawks are 2-15 vs. AFC teams in 10 AM PT games. One of those two wins came last year vs. Houston after falling behind 20-3, and the other one was 2005 in Tennessee after falling behind 24-14. Seattle made the Super Bowl in both seasons, so basically if they beat the Chiefs on Sunday, this two-game sample size suggests we're off to Arizona in February. It's a tough task and it should be a great game.

3 is coming :th2thumbs:

We all know what to expect. KC will stack the line and try to keep us from running, same thing we hear every week. Make RW beat us through the air.

Seems like a good strategy, but it still must be executed.

This is a game where RW will need to be more accurate because of the pass defense he will face.

It is gut check time. We have played 3 teams with a combined 0-13-1 records the last 3 weeks. The fact that we could have lost all 3 of those games isn't a good sign but given the fact we had to devise a new offense I would say that the game last week was a good barometer of the direction we are heading. Today is the day we shall truly find out if this version of Seahawks is championship caliber.

I hope the guys on the squad think of it as a playoff game too.
I definitely think we can use this game as barometer as to forecast the remainder of the season.

Arrowhead is no joke and the Chiefs have a solid, no-frills team. I can't speak for the team, but if we win today I know my confidence will skyrocket.

The playoffs start today for this squad. They could really use a win today so that they don't have to win out in order to make the playoffs.

I feel like our running game and theirs will be approximately equivalent so it is up to Russell to win this game for us. I like our chances with the deepball over Alex Smith's short dink and dunk game. We must cover the tight ends and Dwayne Bowe.
