These are really tough games to watch alone

Last week at our get together at the Swinging Doors I had lots of fan around me sharing the frustration. I thank all of you for that.

This week alone in my lonely computer room trying to handle another week of frustrating play and trying to keep track of the site made it a difficult game to watch.

So thanks again to Russ/all his family and friends, Mark, John, Dennis, Jiggy, & all those other fans for helping get me through last monday. But where the hell were you yesterday?

p.s. even I had to give up the chat room for a while yesterday. Is everyone that posts in there out of their minds?

Am I the only one that hates being along on game day?

Naw brother I feel your pain. I watch most of em alone and have for many years. Except for HoustonHawk (Scott) I'm the only 12 around, he's a hour and 45 minute drive away. Yesterday was exceptionally tough, I was traveling in the car. Had the game on radio, lost reception 1/2 way thru 3rd. Got home just in time to see the overtime. I can't believe nobody called the cops on me driving thru Houston, the way I was beating on my steering wheel and stuff. I'm sure they thought the wife and I were fighting. Anyway was great to pull off another win.

My wife abandoned me before half time (fell asleep on the sofa) so I sat there is silence watching the game until Tates humungous Punt return! When she woke up I told her she missed a hell of a comeback.

Ya I mentioned this in the chat room during Rams game, theres times when I don't mind watching them alone, but there are the games (like half of them this year) where I'm like that charactor off of Armegedon (Bear)...
"when this is over, can I get a hug or something". Thats one of the reasons I love coming to .net

Les, you're never alone... We're always all with you in spirit, and I'm sure if you walked outside you could hear a few of us during the game... The echo's must be bouncing off something and carrying for many miles... Should have heard Trish and myself yesterday... I'm surprised they still let us live in this City, not to mention the neighborhood...

I'm the opposite, I very much prefer to watch alone and get very annoyed with people Around mme during the game.

When I lived in San Diego I watched many alone and from a crappy online feed so I know what you mean. At least this team is worth watching. Mora was coach when I was going through that.

Now I live 2 blocks from the L.A. Seahawkers hangout at the Backstage. Yesterday Brandon Browners uncle was there and we shared several beers. He is trying to get BB down here for the Sunday bye week. If that happens I'll post it here.

I usually watch the games with my bother and sister. They are great when we are winning and HORRIBLE when loosing.
"God the offence is just terrible"
"We suck"
"I'm waisting my day"
"We are going to get smashed today"

I was with netters here during the game. And I understand now...the noise I heard from Boise. I am only 45 miles from there and heard it. LOL Will call Hawkboi some day soon.

My wife and daughter leave the house every away game. I have the house all to myself. I think they think I am much worse than I really am. Then again, I do have my moments I am grateful they are not around to hear me let a F bomb fly, but they are pretty rare these days. I am a neurotic mess when it comes to watching Seahawks on the road. I can't help it. It's just part of my fabric as a diehard for 37 years. There has been a few times I've stopped watching a game only to find out what the tone and score of the game is by refreshing the Gameday Forum.

Nuts.

Nuts I say.

This is how I am. I try to be understanding with my wife and kids, though, especially when they start peppering me with questions like I can analyze and fix what is going on.

My wife bailed on me, she was like I'm not watching this, and left, ahaha

My 8 year old was very concerned for me, earlier we had built this big sofa cushion/blankets fort in the living room... he invited me in to hide during OT.

Which I did! Listened to OT from inside his nice and safe fort. :) It helped!

This, I will SNAP on people during game day. It's better if I watch this team by myself, then again, I snap on people in the game day chat too.

This is pretty funny to those of us old timers that know you and Cindy got together because of her love of NFL football.

Like I said in the gameday forum, if anyone had been around to hear me shrieking "Tater! Tater!!! TATER!!!!!" during that return, it really would have been embarrassing. Most times, it's just better for everyone if I watch the games by myself. :)
