The Titans looks flat. They were torn apart and ripped a new on by the Whiners. Yes, the Whiners should have won regardless, but the Titans didn't even look average.

Next week the Cardinals face the Falcons at home.

I bet the Cards win that one, but what do I know?

Cards were demoralized by us on Thursday. They could really use the extra rest right now, because the Falcons are going to be a tough matchup.

The Cards do get a few few extra days to recover, but I hope the trend continues as well!

I did some number crunching to track what the rest of the league's rate at causing opponents to lose their next game was. (I'll feel really stupid if this information was readily available)

Percentage of opponents that lost their next game:
1. Seahawks: 100%
2. Bears: 80%
3. Chiefs: 80%
4. Packers: 80%
5. Falcons: 80%
6. Panthers: 75%
...
31. Cardinals: 20%
32. Colts: 16.67%

Average Net Points in opponents next game.
1. Seahawks: -18.33
2. Falcons: -12.60
3. Chiefs: -8.0
4. Packers: -6.6
5. Lions: -6.5
6. Broncos: -6.5
...
31. Vikings: +9.75
32. Cardinals: +12.00

So not only do teams that face the Seahawks lose their next game more than any other team in the league, they will also are outscored by the largest margin of any other team in the league.

Even better (I know this isn't real), according to this, teams that face the Cardinals win 80% of their next game and on average outscore their opponents by 12 points. Looks like the Rams are in trouble this coming Monday.

An irritating aspect of this phenomenon:

The ninners are benefitting from this by getting opponents the week after we soften them up.

What is your source please? I see this as a huge advantage when sending in bets.

True, although if the trend continues SF loses to us on Dec 8th and then to TB on the 15th...which I'm okay with.

I am my own source. I used the NFL.com site for schedules and scoring so far. I'll make it prettier and dump it all somewhere. I plan to keep it up to date. Although I wouldn't really use it to bet too much. It should be used for entertainment purposes only.

All a conspiracy to get SF back to the big game and deny Seattle their rightful trip.

Could it be that our coaching has figured out ways to stay competitive (Colts) or even crush other teams, and the following week the next up team diagnoses our playcalling to make a difference in their game against the same opponent?

Cardinals are looking decent this week. I thought for sure they'd come out as a disaster against Atlanta.

Maybe it's just because the Falcons aren't very good.
