I with Marv on this one. This is a waste of time arguing you're comparing apples to oranges. Do I think Seattle has the makings to be a dynasty, no. I think they had the opportunity the last three years including this one to win a couple of SB's but I think their window is going to close after this season, just like ours, at least for while. Next year they will be faced with some big decisions, keep or trade Lynch, is RW worth the money they will need to pay him next year. I think like us there will be Cap issue's and a shuffling of players that may make SB runs for either of our teams something we wont see for the next couple of years.

So when we start resorting back to "Well, at least we won the Super Bowl last year", to me that's like giving up on the season already.

And besides, do you really want to be known for the reigning SB champs? They traditionally don't do well the next year.

What you don't think our back up is hall of fame material? I will give you those teams assembled had hellish talent but the post was mainly directed at the Kap4pres troll attempt. In todays NFL with the cap those teams can't be assembled with that depth. Try paying say Manning and Brady and fielding a team with all Pros secondary's as well as lineman today. The Championship teams that were built then were the Yankees of the NFL.

There's no window for teams to begin with. Look at Cleveland..went from worst to first in a year. Texans went from first to last in a year. Giants, Falcons??? Most teams don't have window. While the Pats, Broncos, Packers, 49ers etc have been among the top teams. How many consecutive SB wins have they had recently? Zero. This is a week to week, year to year league. So saying that the window is closing is moot. There is no window. The Broncos window would be over if Manning gets hurt or retires. Same with Pats and Packers. That could happen in any given season or offseason.
