How about this, let stop here and revisit this in say, week 8.

After 8 games we'll be no worse than 5-3, my prediction. I do hope we are better.

Now, what is your prediction since you are the one who brought it up. After 8 games, what will the 49ers record be?

Hello everybody 3 months in the future

Bet you didn't see yourself going 2-6 so far in the first half of the season
Bold prediction: I say we go anywhere between 0-8 and 8-0 the first half of the season.

2-6 is a very optimistic yet realistic prediction for the 49ers by Week 8.

But hey, you know whiner fans are at their peak form when the postseason rolls around and they're once again out of contention and bragging about the early 1980s. They're used to watching the Seahawks in the postseason by now, after spending the last 15 years doing exactly that.

Since every point you've attempted to make is readily accessible (and usually posted well before you use it) on the spin zone, I'm guessing that some of us won't need to read your stuff then either.

p.s. If you insist on using memes, try using something that everyone hasn't seen dozens of times already.

I rooted for them every year they were in the playoffs up until 2012.

Just out of curiosity, why did you root for them before 2012 and why did you stop in 2012? I'm very curious about 2012 because the team was still considered to be a bit of an upstart with some talent but nothing special.

Before Harbaugh came along when my niners were mediocre I just rooted for any team from the NFC west during the playoffs, I started watching football in 2003 so most years it was the Seahawks. In 2011 my team finally became a contender so I am obviously not going to root for any other team in the playoffs, also in 2012 probably after that 42-13 game is when I started growing bitter hate for the seahawks, and that's when the rivalry pretty much started. But after what has happened over the past few years, will I be able to root for them again like I did in there Holmgren era? Probaby not.

Ah, thanks for clarifying... Was certainly the first stretch where both teams have been really good at the same time while in the same division.

Laloosh was post # 666.

Just thought I'd point that out.

Well I was going to walk to the neighbor's for the 5:00 game but now I suppose I will stay home and chant. Thanks for pointing that out, Salish.

Maybe it's just me, but when you hear how "die hard" a belligerent niner fan is in an honest moment I'm like WTF? Really? And you justify what you say online with that? Hope it's just not me...

When Russell Wilson signs a long term contract with Seattle you disappear from this forum forever, no logging in under an alias and pretending you are someone else (the typical niner troll ploy) you are simply gone.

If he doesnt I cannot respond to any of your trollish posts as long as you are here.

It's not trolling it's just an opinion, if this is trolling then we'd all be guilty. I say the Hawks may not sign him long term because of the way he has to play, a QB can only run like he has to for so long before he either gets hurt or starts to lose a step, Vick, RG3, etc. Take off your Hawk glasses and look at it as a NFL owner or GM. It's very possible he may not be worth the risk of a long term contract. And is it worth signing him a long term high dollar contract losing other members of the team.

I said don't be surprised if they don't sign him long term. Never said it was a sure thing. Again it's an opinion.

My counter bet, If RW is offered a contract for 3 years or less I win, 4 or more you win. And I mean a straight 4 year or more contract, not a 3 year with options for additional years.

And if you win I leave, if I win you leave.

bye buddy, happy trails!

and dont come back

Wouldn't ask him to leave. Forced sig would be nice with that little nugget though.

I remember a time when the poor guy actually tried to post something that wasn't overt trolling. Perhaps he'll find his way again.

After all, if we cut him loose now and force him to watch his team circle the drain with nowhere to vent, I'd feel a little guilty about how things may end.
