Week 11 Seahawks 19, Rams 21
Sofi: LA California
OPENING TAKE
This one hurts, not because Seattle got outplayed but because Seattle outplayed themselves.
You can dominate time of possession, you can stack yardage, you can control the pace of the game.
but if you hand the ball over four times, the universe is going to smack you in the mouth.
And that’s exactly what happened.
This wasn’t about talent. This wasn’t about scheme.
This was about self inflicted wounds in a game Seattle should’ve won by 10+.
The defense showed up, the run game flashed, JSN looked like the guy we drafted and yet here we are looking at a two point loss in a game Seattle had more than a chance to outright WIN!!
THE TURNING POINT
It’s simple
Turnovers.
Four of them.
You cannot expect to win a division game on the road while spotting free possessions.
Seattle still had a chance at the end, even after all the chaos, but you don’t want to be in a position where your kicker needs to hit 61 yards to save the night.
This game wasn’t lost in the final second.
It was lost every time the ball went the other direction.
NOTABLE PLAYERS
Jaxon Smith-Njigba – WR
Seattle’s biggest consistent threat all game. Crisp routes, clutch catches, and once again showing he’s becoming the true anchor of the passing attack.
10 catches, 128 yards the bright spot.
Kenneth Walker III RB
Ran angry. Ran determined. Ran like he wanted to drag this team back into the win column himself.
18 carries, 89 yards, 2 catches for 15 yards and the only rushing TD of the night.
The Defense
Gritty. Stood tall on short fields after multiple turnovers. Held Stafford to 147 yards.
Did everything you want a Mike Macdonald defense to do except take the field less.
Sam Darnold – QB
The stat line says it all:
279 yards… but 4 interceptions.
You can’t sugarcoat it.
When he was on, the offense moved. When he wasn’t, it cost Seattle the game. It seemed apparent from the look in his eyes all night which Sam we were gonna get.

FINAL THOUGHTS
This one will be circled in the film room.
Seattle controlled the clock, controlled the pace, controlled the field
and still walked out with an L because the ball was thrown to the wrong team four times.
But here’s the truth
This isn’t a panic loss.
This is a correctable loss.
The bones of this team look strong.
Defense is competitive every snap
JSN is ascending fast
Walker is still Walker
The scheme works
The toughness is there
Clean up the turnovers and this game flips instantly.
Seattle didn’t get bullied.
Seattle beat Seattle.
Fix that, and January is still very much in play
GO HAWKS!!
