Good, Bad, Ugly

Good -
Jaxon Smith Njigba - elite
Defense has the potential to be very elite

Bad -
Trick plays are for teams who need a spark or are up comfortably. The timing of the trick play was horrible as they were driving. We are 0-2 on trick plays this season on drives that look like they are headed towards point and in both cases turned the ball over.

Running game was better then it has been but not where it could be. Is K9 injured or trade bait? He has explosive speed but a majority of his runs never develop and hes taking losses.

Ugly -
Playing with our food. Outside of a few good drives our offense looks flat. We tend to get up by multiple scores and play very conservative to the point where the other team catches up. Luckily last night our defense was lockdown but Houston had plenty of opportunities to make that a game.

Turnovers killing our drives. Not very often is a team going to get away with 4 turnovers.

All in all a win is a win 5-2 sounds pretty good to me hopefully the bye week gives us a chance to get others healthy and ready for SNF.

I just rewatched the condensed version and agree 100%.

JSN is turning in a prime Antonio Brown type season. Every play he makes is huge. We could be watching the single best receiving season in NFL history.

The defense was dominant. Even with several starters missing.

I dont know what happened to Tyrice Knight but Drake Thomas is taking all his snaps as the 2nd LB. Thomas is making a play here and there, but an upgrade at LB would make a huge difference on this already dominant defense.

That was a dominant performance, made close by sloppy plays. Almost every Houston score was a result of a turnover.

Meyers and the run game/playcalling are the only things stopping this team from winning a SB IMO.

Our defense is already elite. We turned in that performance without Witherspoon and Love. Spoon is a game-changer on his own and Love's instincts on the back ends and ability to get everyone in place is invaluable. To do what we have done without them is statement worthy.

Totally agree that our defense is elite.
Guys are flying around making plays and laying the wood on people.
And it's being done without Love and Witherspoon so hopefully it's gonna get even better/nastier!

Thomas, Okada, Jobe are all stepping in and stepping up!
And our pash rush is fantastic!! Maybe not as many sacks as everyone would like but we are getting tons of pressure on the quarterback.

Hell, Woolen wasn't even horrible last night!!

You have an elite defense that should get better, A QB playing as well as anyone and I still think they have a ton of room on offense to get better. I'm excited about this team. Weird game last night but watching it, it was obvious they were the much better team.
