I think if Carolina gets here they will get blown out. The players have heard enough about them since we played them earlier they will want to smash them big time.

Hate to say it, but the Niners. They're 1) the only team built similar to us, 2) a team with plenty of experience playing us, and 3) a team with a strong desire to beat us.

However, I'd say the Refs are quite a formidable opponent as well.

I think our toughest challange is maturity and focus.

We can beat anyone here in Seattle if this team has it.

Imagine if the ravens do another crazy postseason run and we face them during the bowl.

....and we do what SF couldn't.

And that's why I voted "other". I've thought since early in the season that the only things that could stop this team were injuries and officiating. These Hawks are better than the Niners now. They're better than last year's Niners and they're better than the previous years' Niners who turnover-fluked their way to 13-3.

Playing at the CLink, the only things that can stop the Hawks is somebody diving into RW's knee, ala Steelers v. Carson Palmer, or a blizzard of yellow laundry.

Ourselves. Clean up the penalties that stall drives, and improve on pass pro and no one can beat us.

I think a Seahawks/Broncos SB would be epic though.

I agree with the "ourselves" answer. Actually we have two more hurdles before the playoffs start to get HFA. The Tards and Lambs. First thing is first IMO. Still a LONG road to Metlife.

It's not a choice in your poll but the Seattle Seahawks are the only team who has been able to beat the Hawks this year. I believe that is how it is and it will remain so until opening day of 2014. GO HAWKS!

That "The Seahawks can only lose to themselves" answer is a complete cop-out. There are a lot of great teams in the league, and we're not getting through the playoffs without some battles.

If they're playing at their best, the Lions are a scary talented team, but they can't seem to stop shooting themselves in the foot, so I went with the Broncos. The Packers are also potentially very dangerous.

Niners for sure. They are peaking right now and have the most experience in Seattle. Cam won't know what to do in front of 12th man.

An Aaron Rodgers led Packers team.

Have been thinking about that a bit lately as well. He is very poised.

That being said, the Niners by far. Familiarity is a scary thing. They are close and need not travel far. They are super talented and have great on field coaches. Even though they have been crushed in SEA lately, they know what to expect and I see them as the only team with a shot to beat us at home.

Like I said the familiarity thing is a bit disconcerting. I still have vivid memories of beating the Raiders twice in 83, only to be beaten handily in the AFCCG (yes, that was in Oakland or LA). We are no doubt a better team, but this is no best of seven, and I think of all the teams trying to find that one day when things come together against us, it's the Niners.

I think we destroy Cam and the Panthers if that happens.

That's how I feel. For the rest of the way, especially in the playoffs, our players (all of them) are going to go completely Beast Mode all the way to the Lombardi. That, my friends, will be unstoppable.

I fear Wilson.
A lot. every Niner fan does or should.
That ability to extend plays at times is as close to indefensible as it gets.
Dude oozes winner too.

I'd have to say the Niners, but our defense is built to handle Kaepernick and we deal with them brilliantly at home. I agree that Carolina should have been in there. The rest are finesse teams - meh.

I picked Denver because if we make it to play them they will be a team with an elite QB and great weapons at WR and TE in the SuperBowl, the biggest game with a young team.

Krapadick and the niners may not even get as far as us. They will be playing on the road as a wildcard.

The Panthers are a better team than SF, in my opinion. I still see them winning the South, and may very well end up in Seattle for the NFC Championship game. This would be our toughest opponent.
