Assuming HFA. Who do you think is the toughest test between now and the Lombardi.

I selected "other" because the Panthers scare me more. It's really close though with SF.

Got to be the niners . This season is coming down to that game . I think WHEN we get to the Super Bowl we will win it .

I think we still destroy the Niners at home, especially in the playoffs so I said other.

as nervous as i am about having a flukey game at home in the playoffs i just dont see it happening. the niners? in the playoffs? can you imagine?!

i said Broncos simply because Peyton can go off anytime, and hes not Eli.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we won't be facing AFC teams (Broncos, Bengals, Pats) "between now and the SB"

I thought this was a trick question.

But I said Niners. IMO they match up the best, though Carolina's a pretty close second. IMO all those teams are strong on D and questionable on O (as we are, from time to time).

Now and the SB, including the SB.

basically i dont think we lose at home, in the playoffs. i can honestly say i wouldnt be nervous about any team coming here, though SF would feel like tempting fate.

Niners and Panthers are a close 2nd. Niners are due to play a decent game against this version of the Hawks in Seattle. I don't think things will change much if the Hawks square off with them in the playoffs but you never know. A fumble here, pick there, return for TD in between and it's a whole different game. The niners have crapped the bed the last couple of times here, if they play a full game without a mistake it will be a nail biter.

Like I said, I like the Hawks chances of mopping the floor with SF again at Quest but it aint guarantied.

San Francisco, other teams present their own challenges, but not like the 49ers.

The 49ers are the only team in the NFL the last two years, that when the Seahawks are on, and the 49ers are on, they can match, and occasionally beat the Seahawks physicality. Its one thing to get outschemed, you can tweak a scheme, its another to get overpowered. Regardless of the fact that we've curb stomped them at home the last two times, meeting them in the playoffs, however inevitable and fitting in a rite of passage kind of way, would scare the hell out of me.

Why would we fear the Niners? Kap is still a one read QB. The noise rattles him. He can't get his plays off on time. Their team falls apart because HE falls apart at Clink.

I would fear Carolina the most, because they're between us and the SB. Once we get there, I think Denver because of Manning.

I don't fear the 9ers, I just think they're gonna be our best competition.

I voted other.

The biggest threat to bringing home a title is themselves.

Going into games flat and penalties have been an issue this season.
