While I personally think it was a TD because Tate touched the ball at the same time AND got his feet down first... at the very least people should give us a break because it could make up for the Phantom Touchdown by Vinny Testeverde.

Fixed that for you. There was a definitive picture that shows Tate's hand on the ball first, before the defender ever touches it.

No, it makes up for the bogus call that continued a Green Bay drive prior to that and gave them a TD. If it hadn't been for that horrible call, the game would have been over long before that. That's why it's so sad that people like Rodgers act so P.O.'d about the final call but were smiling when they got the call shortly before that which went their way.
