Not only recently but throughout his tenure, Pete has been questioned and criticized for some of the decisions he makes, especially in terms of certain personnel.
Take Bobo as the most recent example. Many have said that he’s slow or “didn’t test well” or he had a terrible combine.
this is just a small excerpt from Pete’s recent interview with KJ Wright but it was easy to miss or overlook if you weren’t paying close attention.
Pete answered the question very specifically why we see a certain player profile over and over, and I for one am glad that we do.
There are many of our favorite players that wouldn’t be if not for Pete holding to this particular philosophy.
Anyway, this is kinda an ah ha moment for me.
