3 wins against NFL teams in 11 days. Two of them on the road.

In 11 days we played over 17% of the season. Won every single one.

I think we were silly to think this was going to be easy. And to be honest, it really only caught up to us the last 6 minutes or so and required an interesting holding call to make the game competitive. I’m freaking ecstatic.

I count four plays:
- the holding call against JSN negating a TD.
- the missed FG not only costing 3 points but giving the cards a short field
- 2 mind bogglingly stupid PI calls on Woolen.

None of those are things the Cardinals did, they're things the Seahawks did to themselves.
I would add the unsportsmanlike penalty on K9 that took em out of FG range too. And no tush push on 4th and two feet??

10 days in fact, where we can enjoy positive news about the Seahawks. Imagine 10 days of dealing with the Seahawks being counted out after losing to a mid Cardinals team.

Another benefit of the victory.
Positive reviews?

Aww...who are we kidding, AROS?

The Media is going to go "What is wrong with the Cardinals?" and then when they're done, they will just say "Oh and the Hawks won. So onto what's happening wiht the Buffalo Bills..."

How about that dumb kick by the Cards kicker which caused a penalty putting the Hawks at the 40?

Thank you very much, Mr. Moron Cards kicker. You are a "real man of genius". 😂

completely forgot about that.

In a game where points would be precious, that was a totally bonehead penalty by K9 there.

Imagine he doesn't commit that penalty, at the worst we kick a FG and if things continue the same way, this game would've had zero drama even with Meyers missing the kick later.

So many things went wrong and yet the Hawks persevered.

Boy you got me there!

You are so right. After the game I switched over to Gameday Final on NFL Network and they had a circle jerk fest on the resurgence of Marvin Harrison JR and the Cardinals last two drives that will magically propel them to greatness for the rest of the year.

🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮

It is shocking the lengths the media will go to, to take shine away from the Seahawks and give glory to the opponents who lost to them. Unreal. As if anybody in their right mind honestly thinks the Cardinals will suddenly go on some magical run because of a little momentum and mistakes we made in the last few minutes of the game that we STILL WON!

I at least admire Kyle Brandt’s honesty on GMFB. To paraphrase:

“What is it about the Seahawks? Why don’t they get more attention? Maybe it’s because they are way up there in the Pacific Northwest where not a lot of people live…”

I wasn’t mad at his take. I think it was an honest opinion. And for the record he has made it clear he actually really likes the Seahawks this year and thinks they will have a good season. But he’s right. We are a team that chugs along, does well overall, but isn’t the sexy market like LA or NY or Dallas or, etc, etc…

Yet, it still beats having lost to them tonight. We will still get our flowers here and there over the next 10 days, especially from TRUE analysts and not talking meatheads raging for clicks.

It's just the way it is with the national media and us out here, though it still tees me off here and there. The Mariners are a remarkable story now, yet if Cal didn't hit his 60th home run, we'd still be like 25th on the national media list for MLB.

Yes, the last 6 minutes of the game was a letdown by the defense. Playing press man-to-man instead of zone packages made it easy for Kyler to throw it up and the receiver to make plays. When we were in zone coverage forcing Kyler to read the defense that’s where the money was being made.

I have no doubt Mike will be emphasizing the mistakes made on defense in those final 6 minutes. This game should have never been this close and everybody knows it.

Spoon will be better. He was rusty. It happens. Not worried at all.

Woolen needs to be demoted.

I wish Sam’s name was Eddie so I could call him “Steady Eddie”. His stats won’t ooooh or aaaah you but they are consistent and good. He is the perfect QB for this system.

Sure, the last 6 minutes of the game isn’t what we wanted but in the end, we won a close divisional game on the road and that’s precisely what great teams do.

Not every game is going to be a Picasso. Not every game is going to be a blowout like last week against the Saints. Most games in fact, will likely come down to the wire and a play here or there will be the difference between a win or a loss.

Every great team has ugly wins. I’ve watched the NFL for 50+ years and this is a pure fact. No team has ever had a 16-17 game season where every game was a masterpiece. The other teams have great players too.

And make no mistake:

The Seahawks are becoming a great team right before our eyes.

3-1 baby!

Enjoy a stress-free day of NFL football this Sunday!

Go Hawks!
By far the better team. They controlled most of that game.

VERY well said.
And you can add two pushoffs by Zona, late 4th quarter.

This. Red Zone when your team has a 10 day break AND coming off a road win to go 3-1? 8th straight win over Zona?

That is THE best Red Zone Sunday.

Very exciting game. Sam looks great, I dont think we win this game with Geno.. The defense played well for the most part except at the end of the game I don't understand why they changed the defense at the end the Cards really started moving the ball and it made me physically sick to watch.. JSN made the plays even though it was a rough day for him, he showed he's a true leader on this team.. Woolen 🤦🏻‍♂️, even though I'm not as down on him as some fans are, I can't believe yet agian he's the one that gave up the play, frustrating is the only word I can come up with... The Bryant INT then Fumble lost showed me right away how this game was going to be a nail bitter all the way, I love these games & hate them at the same time... And finally Meyers, even though I cursed him after missing that 53 yarder, I was praising his name after drilling the game winning 52 yarder to redeem himself... What an epic classic seahawks game, it's been a while since we've seen this style of game, and I loved every minute of it...

Not to mention, 3 of those wins in 11 days were road games (including a cross-country East Coast trip). That's impressive.

I wouldn't even call the JSN holding call as self inflicted that was a ticky-tack call by the ref, Rob Rang called it out with passion on his show, saying they typically show replays of those types of penalties, but didn't show this one because they knew it wasn't even a real penalty, and for the short time I saw it, it didn't look like JSN held the defender.. and the missed field goal, hey no kicker is 100% money past 50yds... I can't argue against the Woolen penalties, those are definitely self inflicted...

I can't blame K9 for getting upset because it was clear the defender was intentionally trying to hurt him, and I though the refs were supposed to be keeping an eye out for these types of plays?... Well I guess the ref couldn't see it from 10 feet away 👨‍🦯👨‍🦯🙈
