Outstanding performances for Gilbert, Seawald, and Graveman, only yielding one hit to the Yankers.
Home runs by Seagar, Moore, and Haniger.

Real pumped for Gilbert’s outing today. :2thumbs:

It's amazing what they can do when they start playing the game in the first instead of waiting until the 3rd inning.

Agreed. Feels like a Pete Carroll team sometimes.

"Can you win the game in the 1st inning?!"...

May not be able to win it in the 1st, but you can damn sure lose it.

Shed somewhat redeemed himself with that walk that eventually let Mitch hit that granny

More and more I'm hating the idea of trading Haniger. He's been the anchor of our outfield all year.

Hanigar defense is not good. He is negative in D war. He is very good at hitting.

Last night was electric. It had me dreaming of fall baseball.

Would love to see your source for that gem.

Yeah still not liking the idea of trading Hanny either. The M's are in the race because of pitching....why trade some of the little offense you have away...

Dragon provided it. Thanks for reply.

Hanigar has had 2 solid defensive years. Then 2018, he was -3.3, 2019 0.4 and this year -0.9.

Base running career is -2.9.

Hitting career is + 52.9.

So like i said he is good at hitting and not so much defensively.

Harry Ford with the 12th overall pick by the Ms.
High school catcher out of GA.

Hopefully he develops into something in a few years

Seeing Zunino hit a HR in the All Star game made me...disappointed.
Seeing him hit the HR off Taijuan Walker was... Still frustrating. Why we let these guys walk??

That's what I wondered when we drafted catcher Ford a few days ago -- which MLB team will thank the farm team Mariners for him in 5-10 years? Maybe after Zunino's performance last night, the FO will get a clue.

You guys are funny. Z was all but run out of town because of his low batting average and hot/cold plate presence in general. He was a K/HR bi-polar hitter and very streaky.
