3 star olinemen Cody shear flips from Arizona to Oregon. Blah, not to excited about this one. He is to oregon as Kirkland was to Washington.
That rule changed a few years ago. He signs his LOI, he's locked into UW. Real good pickup for the dawgsdrrew":10xf38jb said:Jordon Lolohea http://247sports.com/Player/Jordan-Lolohea-93543 DE out of Utah just committed to UW.
He's an LDS kid and will be taking his mission so won't show up for a couple years and these guys sometimes flip, but this is a good get regardless.
His father recently passed away, so things got a little emotional at his announcement this morning. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWZy6B3FU50

Ummm oregons average star rating is 3.38 and UWs is 3.5...last time I checked 3.5 was higher than 3.38CPHawk":266danpd said:And there it is, coming off our worst season in 23 years, and UW off their best in 16 years. And UO still out recruited UW.

He's just trying to find a school that would admit him. When college acceptance is in doubt, WSU will always come through in the end.

If someone was really bored they could cut off the 6 lowest ranked recruits for Oregon and figure out the new average. Obviously the lower ranked recruits bring Oregon's average down.
That said it really doesn't matter. Oregon loaded up on top ranked defensive talent and UW loaded up on top ranked offensive talent. I think the contrast is kind of interesting actually.
