Agree, kudos to that ref.
I want to see at least a 250k fine on Harris for that late hit attack on JSN out of bounds when his helmet was torn off that knocked him onto the bench. That was dangerous and completely unneccesary and avoidable. I would almost say a suspension would be on order if it was me.

Not that anyone wants to hear this - but a ball-carrier is allowed to stiff-arm a potential tackler to the face-mask. JSN retaliates with a 2-handed shove to the back after he has gone out-of-bounds, then entirely through the white sideline area, and then another 6+ feet the other side of it. In his defense he couldn't see exactly where he was but you can't do that and JSN should expect a fine on Wednesday. This doesn't excuse Harris for responding to JSN's attempt to push Stingley into the bench. There should have been offsetting fouls for JSN and Harris.

That rule should be reviewed. Stiff arm is fine but you shouldn't be able to rip a guys helmet off. Thought NFL was concerned about player safety?

Technically he pushed the helmet off from underneath the chin. Not nice, but not a foul. It would be a foul if the defending/tackling player were to do that as the ball-carrier wouldn't be able to defend himself. Obviously grabbing the face-mask, (by either player), would be a personal foul.

Harrison should have been ejected for that hit on the side line on a player without a helmet.... they will be getting a very expensive envelope ✉️ soon enough...

Ripping or technically pushing - key emphasis on removal of another player's helmet from his head.

I could see him getting a fine because it's out-of-bounds but being ejected for a push to the chest would have been excessive.

If you’re going to allow officials to guard nfl players from other players, then put in a requirement that they themselves have to be ex nfl and under 50.

He almost headbutted JSN in the push, and if players safety is truly the nfl's biggest concern then an ejection is necessary to show this won't be tolerated.. I mean he came flying in and if his helmet would've collided with JSNs head we're talking about a concussion and possibly a severe cut to his face/head, and JSN missing games...

I'd love to see a rule that if a player injures another player while committing a personal foul, the perpetrator should be suspended for as long as the injury keeps the player out of the lineup. Seems harsh but sometimes you need harsh to actually change behavior.

The league may well decide that you're right. After all, the penalty on the field was against Stingley. My point is that we've all seen RBs do the same thing countless times and nobody says anything about it. Maybe the league will issue a fine, and maybe not.
