I was just thinking how this season is playing out, and some of the wild ass shit I was hearing before this season, case in point:

2019 NFL season: Bold predictions, final record for all 32 teams and playoff picks
(Just a teaser)

....NFC West
1. *Rams: 10-6
2. *Seahawks: 10-6
3. 49ers: 6-10
4. Cardinals: 5-11

NFC West Bold Prediction: 49ers finish under .500.

With Jimmy Garoppolo finally healthy, the 49ers have turned into a trendy pick to make the playoffs in 2019. The problem for the 49ers -- besides the fact that Garoppolo keeps throwing interceptions in practice -- is that there are two teams in their division that have slightly more talent than they do. With a rusty Garoppolo, the only way the 49ers are going to hit .500 this season is if everything goes right for them, but I think we can all agree that everything never goes right for anyone in the NFL....

It is pretty hilarious all the way through, but yeah, the season has NOT AT ALL gone how the "experts" thought. :34853_doh:

Well, off to look for more hilariously wrong 2019 predictions....

NFL predictions 2019: Final standings, playoff projections, Super Bowl 54 pick

....NFC East

Place Team Record
1. Dallas Cowboys 12-4
2. Philadelphia Eagles 11-5
3. New York Giants 4-12
4. Washington Redskins 4-12
The NFC East, in line with its recent history, was one of the NFL's tightest and toughest divisions last season. The Cowboys (10-6) edged out the Eagles (9-7) to take back the division title, while the Redskins (7-9) and Giants (5-11) remained rather competitive.

Dallas three seasons ago went 13-3, and Philadelphia is only two years removed from a Super Bowl victory. Those teams will look to maintain their momentum as NFC playoff teams and conference championship contenders, while Washington and New York work to catch up after drafting quarterbacks in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft....

I woulda posted the west, but the Cowboy undeserved love was so glaringly hilarious I went with this, but I do recommend checking out what they thought of the West, it's pretty bad.... :34853_doh:

Much changes year to year in the NFL. In fairness that makes prognosticating difficult. For 10 years really the success of the Pats and Seahawks are the only 2 constants I can think of well that and the Cowboys not being much of anything most every year.

Everything in the NFL is based on what is happening in the moment. I know the talk during training camp was that Bosa was injury prone and not one NFL.com writer had him for their pick for NFL defensive rookie of the year, despite all the talk of him tearing up training camp until he rolled his ankle. Now he is looking like an All pro...

Even the game picks, no one every sticks their neck out and predicts a blow out.

This prediction isn't really that terrible. The NFC L-EAST one was laughable.

Things change a lot in 1 year. It's hard to say at the beginning of the year. You are just going off of history. Sometimes injuries happen to one team. Another team gets healthy. Some other team has some drafts which are great in a row and their players are growing up and starting to make an impact. A different team has many bust drafts in a row and it's starting to show. Some other team has players who are getting older and declining. It's real hard to say in the NFL what things will be. I've always thought you need to be about 6 games in to see the real trend. And 8 games in is better. 1/2 of a season and you see where things are at. It can and does change a lot in 1 year sometimes.
