Dude is now a complete WR. And a nifty returner and blocker.

I Love me some Tater Salad.

He won't be a complete receiver until he matures as a professional some more, as last week proved.

Ya confidence and a little cockiness is a definite stomp on his talent. I am being totally sarcastic. He is a talented player.

Dez Bryant, Percy Harvin, Desean Jackson, T.Y. Hilton = same maturity level as golden if not lower. all he has to do is catch the ball and run.

Sorry, he's not a good receiver until he catches for more than 1,000 yards in a season. :sarcasm_off:

If you are referring to his little "yakkity yak-yak" to the DB, that was priceless, and does not define his skill set.

Funny how players always somehow become complete players during contract years. Wanting to get paid never fails to hone a players focus and determination.

Seems very much to be Steve Smith 2.0

Can do it all on the field but never grows up.

I don't mind the antics as long as he produces and we're winning.

I don't think he is better because of a contract year. He improved a LOT during last year, and his learning curve is over.

Personally, I love the cockyness and bravado. He'll learn (if he hasn't already) how to use it and not hurt the team...

It seems the NFL is redefining the rule book and how to interpret rules on a weekly basis in an attempt to neuter the Hawks cocky, physical, punishing bravado...

I've waited a lifetime for a team like this...

In my opinion this is a bad comparison. Smith is a piece of crap human, Tate just likes to have fun.

I was being slightly sarcastic, but you have to admit it's amazing how many pro athletes finally get their poop together and have their best years during contract years.

Tate's simply a playmaker and, love him or hate him, his personality and attitude fits with this team. I'd have no problem with the Seahawks keeping him long term, even with Harvin in the fold.

And think about it. With Harvin, Tate and Baldwin, we'd probably have the shortest WR group to go along with our shortest QB. We're WAY ahead of the curve on this future trend. :)

You realize opposing fans see Tate as a piece of crap human, right?

For lying about pushing off in the Green Bay game, to taunting players, to talking trash sometimes.

It's only because he's on OUR team that we like him. Opposing fans can't stand him and say he's a terrible person all the time.

True Dat. He deserves a big contract and I hope it is us that gives it to him.
