NEmmanwori at #6 S with some praise, but intrigued re: "one-trick-pony" comment. I think his value is that he can do multiple things well.... Maybe attacking him deep and forcing him into chasing coverage will be a focus of offenses this year, but they'll need time to throw....

He's far from a one trick pony. But #6 after a rookie season, impressive. Yet another great trade up by JS.

Checking in on the players the Giants drafted with the two picks they got for Big Cat:

  • S Tyler Nubin (2.47 in 2024 draft): Nice rookie season as a starter, dropped back a bit in his second season. Played 13 games each season.
  • T Marcus Mbow (5.154 in 2025 draft): Played in 13 games as a rookie, starting three. Assessed three penalties, had 324 snaps on offense, 37 on special teams.
Meanwhile, Williams has been one of the leaders of a Super Bowl-winning Seahawks defense, playing and starting 43 games for the team and winning a variety of awards. Time will tell on the two Giants, but at this point Seattle appears to have benefited more from the trade.
