I haven't done this for a while. I hope this is a worthwhile endeavor as it takes a bit of time to compose, so any comments good or bad would be appreciated.

Here's how our players stack up according to PFF's player rankings by position through Week 9. The number in parathesis next to the position is the number of players who had enough snaps to qualify for a ranking, a significant number as it puts the rankings in perspective. I've also included the top ranked player for each position.

If you have a question about a specific player on another team that isn't listed, please don't hesitate to ask and I'll look it up.

Offense

QB
(37) Sam Darnold, #1.

WR (128) JSN, #2. Cooper Kupp, #31. Tory Horton, #45. #1 Puka Nacua, Rams.

RB (52) K9, #6. Zach Charbonnet, #24. #1 James Cook, Bills.

TE (79) AJ Barner, #13. Eric Saubert, #36. Elijah Arroyo, #46. #1 Brock Bowers, Raiders.

Center (35) Jalen Sundell, #23. #1 Creed Humphrey, Chiefs.

Guard (78) Grey Zabel, #61. Anthony Bradford, #69. #1 Quenton Nelson, Colts.

OT (75) Abe Lucas, #17. Charles Cross, #19. #1 Penei Sewell, Lions.

Defense

CB
(107) Devon Witherspoon, #4. Josh Jobe, #72. Tariq Woolen, #84. #1 Jamel Dean, Bucs.

Safety (90) Ty Okada, #7. Coby Bryant, #27. Julian Love, # 49. #1 Kyle Hamilton, Ravens.

LB (82) Ernest Jones, #39. Drake Thomas, #40. Tyrice Knight, #47.#1 Fred Warner, Niners.

DT (124) Leonard Williams, #13. Byron Murphy, #13. Jarran Reed, #61.#1 Cameron Heyward, Steelers.

DE (119) Boye Mafe, #45. DeMarcus Lawrence, #48. Derrick Hall, #64. #1 Myles Garrett, Browns.

You're going to have to now add Rashid Shaheed to this. LOL

Their ranking on Zabel is insane!
I haven't watched all the replays of our games so I can't confirm or deny your claim. But I don't doubt that Zabel's ranking doesn't meet the eye test. Offensive line performance is the hardest position to quantify as there aren't any clear statistics to look to like there is with quarterbacks and wide receivers.

But they are more than just a random opinion, too.

It's PFF so it's mostly garbage. Their ratings are shit but the OP's post is generally good and done in good faith. Just ignore PFF rankings though.

I get that. Most of the rankings meet the eye test. I'd say these are meaningful stats for OL.

I'm not sure of QB pressures allowed qualifies as a stat. It's pretty subjective and doesn't belong in the same category as a completion percentage or yards per carry. I mean, what's a pressure? If a quarterback like Russell Wilson holds onto the ball dancing around for eternity, then a DL finally gets to him, is it fair to charge the OL with an allowed pressure?
