I'd love to hear some of your superstitions for a big game .
Mine is I print the whole teams roster fold it up put it in some Tupperware fill it with water and put it in the freezer over night .i know I know it's crazy but it's only weird if it doesn't work right?!?!?

My superstition is that every time someone admits to being superstitious, I make a smug and condescending remark to them.

Not many, but if it is a big game, the #84 Engram jersey gets broken out. Kind of odd considering his big drop the day that I bought the jersey, but it's been pretty good to me ever since.

I'm curious how the frozen roster sheet thing started.

One of my friend posted on facebook that he's usually doing chores around the house while watching the Hawks game, we do well when he misses the big plays or TD, so we tell him to get back to doing other chores or laundry.

I've worn the same jersey since the first Cardinals matchup.

So basically you're all welcome.

I apologize in advance. That sounds so outlandish that I was wondering if you were joking. Then again sports superstitions are so irrational, that it's likely true

Either way, I have a few interesting superstitions

One superstition I have is I can't tell anyone what my superstitions are otherwise they stop working

Though it makes me wonder if that above superstition which I just told you has stopped working now.

Irrational huh?

The frozen roster thing started from a friends
Mother in Alaska every time a player was hot the week before she cooled him off in the freezer . I took it as a joke and it worked in 2005 against wash then again against the panthers I didn't do it for XL and bam!
I did it against wash it worked forgot for the Atlanta game and bam!
So I did it all of the playoffs last year even the Super Bowl and well ya know .
Worked last week won't chance it this week .
Crazy but I too have been wearing engrams jersey since the first Cards game.

I used to not be confident about the win but f that. I'd rather get goated than be conservative. My wife thinks If she leaves the kitchen during a game, they will loose.

At 3-3, I swapped out the lucky #12 jersey I wore for every game last year (including a super bowl morning 10K) for my #24.

Not on purpose, but I haven't gotten a haircut since before the regular season started. I really hate long hair, and I was going to cut it tomorrow since I have some time, but then I took a step back and thought against it. Russell didn't cut his hair last year until after the SB, and he's doing the same this year. I wouldn't want to be the cause of us losing. I will wait until after Feb 2 just to be safe. 8)

I love how you're being super sensitive right now. Is that part of your superstition?

I do have to buy some sort of Seahawks "something" the less I spend the more we win by, the more I spend the closer the score or even maybe they... ... I can't say it.

Tomorrow I scour the dollar stores and thrift stores, sports store clearance bins... I will succeed... WE WILL WIN!!!

We were 2-3 when I wore my Sherman jersey but 11-1 when I went with my Wilson jersey. After the streak started, I relegated my Sherman jersey to Blue Friday duty and stuck with Wilson on game day, except when I went to my dad's on the 28th for the Rams game. After we were down 6-0 at the half, I went back to Wilson. I think that game speaks for itself.

At the start of this season my kids and I retired our 12's flag we fly outside our house here in KC. We introduced the new SB Champs flag. Well every game we have flown the flag all day we have won. Every game we haven't flown it we have lost this year. (Three of those games I was out of town on biz, including when I was in Seattle during the Chief's game and the kids and wife forgot, the other was when we were all in St. Louis for that bugger smugger of a game)

Needless to say it will be up and flying all day Sunday. My kids are totally convinced it is legit. Im starting too also:)

Go Hawks!!
