Yes or no only.

Please explain your reasoning

And for the sake of additional conversation.

For those that think we do make it, also expect to be playing the Texans
My bold prediction.

That team is almost a mirror image of the Seahawks.
Last night against the Steelers should have convinced many, but I’ve been saying it.
I see a lot of the Texans news and highlights.
The similarities are many.

If we make it, so should they, for the same reasons we do.

And I thought talking championship game was getting ahead of ourselves 😂

I’ve said it a few times but this defense gives me 2013 vibes. It’s definitely a different type of good but my confidence in them is similar

I go by points allowed, but I can see where other things would make them #1
Maybe they had least yards given up, etc.

Hard to really say who is #1, I just think scoring defense is the best indicator. Bend don't break, etc. And this team barely bends.

First half or so of the season, Hawks would get out to big leads. So, a lot of their yards given up were in garbage time.

Texans defense impressed me once they settled in, but I will go back to when we played them early in the year. It felt like our defense was the more accomplished unit. I wouldn't be rolling with any one else at this point.

The Patriots impressed me on the weekend. Texans run game doesn't fill me with confidence and essentially if you can keep Nico in check then they are not a high powered offense. Perhaps their defense is so strong it doesn't stop them reaching the Superbowl but I think my favourites in the AFC are the Patriots. Maye is a problem with his legs as well as his arm.

I think we are the NFC team most likely to make the super bowl but any give Saturday/Sunday and all that we could lose to the 49ers or Rams/Bears.

While the Houston D is similar to ours I do not rate their offence. Sam mght not be an MVP candidate but he is a lot better than Stroud and The Texans don't have an equivalent of JSN.

If we do make it to the Super Bowl I expect it will be against one of the teams we have met their before, either the Pats or the Broncos, if forced to pick one I would go with the Pats.

Not only make it, but win it. Three toughest teams in the NFL this season reside in the NFCW. We've beaten the other two already. Rams will be our toughest test, but we have the formula to beat them. Once we get past LA, it's payback time for NE.

Me too. LOL I'll admit to thinking that we have the best chance of getting through the divisional round, but I wouldn't be surprised by any other team advancing beyond the divisional round, even the Bears. What's more, what will Hawk fans be feeling if the 9ers jump out to a 10-0 lead against us however such a thing might have come about? I suspect all this kind of idle chat will vanish from their minds pretty quick. LOL

Not a fan of forced binary choices, but OK I'll bite and say yes.

2019 Ravens.

Favored to win the SB, broke all kinds of records, went 14-2.

Lost in the divisionals to Ryan Tannehill.

Anything can happen, so I voted no. Hoping that fate will again prove me wrong, as it's been pretty reliable for the last 7 weeks.

The Seahawks have also been monitoring season ticket holders selling tickets to outside fans. If these playoff games have a majority 12s and no longer the opponent having a large majority of their fans, Lumen, will stay rocking and Seattle’s homefield advantage will be at full strength again! This would bode well for us and our chances at returning to the big game!

I no longer "worry" about those kinds of situations with this stout defense and "fashionably late" offense. We spot the 9ers 10 and then our defense adjusts and forces 4 straight punts or get a pick and we rattle off a quick 17. Main reason I'm so certain we're gonna win the trophy this year. Dead serious.

Yes. Home field advantage throughout, defense playing amazing football, offense doing enough, special teams also consistently playing very well, plus even though our crowd noise (and crowd IQ honestly) have gone down noticeably since our Super Bowl win, our stadium still really rocks the house in home playoff games. We're also relatively healthy for this point in the season, overall.

I’ll add… the AFC Is a wet noodle for defenses making the Texans look more impressive than they are imo. I thought we’d struggle with all the talk around their defense…

But iron sharpens iron. NFC has the defensive juggernauts. The AFC Pool noodle stiffies.
