Stephen A. Smith, not the basketball player lol.

Fast forward to 1 :37 for remarks! The best part of this is that this was a conversation about Aldon Smith and the Niners!

Steven Smith: "Let's be clear. If Seattle ends up with home field advantage..."
Skip Bayless: "Gonna be tough"
Steven Smith: "No, no, no. Not tough-"
Skip Bayless: "It's just over"
Steven Smith: "It's over. Nobody is going to Seattle to beat the...Nobody is beating Seattle in Seattle, in the NFC. If Seattle go, has homecourt, home field advantage, the Seattle Seahawks are going to the Super Bowl. It is just that simple."

Then he mentions some nonsense about the Whiners.
Skip Bayless then says, (meh, I stopped caring what he said at that point.)

Can you believe they get paid for such BOLD commentary?

As though there's some (educated) fan out there wondering: "Are the Seahawks good at home"?

Idiots, the both of them.

They are paid to think and to provide a story. I am down on what they think is a story. I have nothing against either man, personally. I don't know them outside of their puppet world. Inside their puppet world, they are idiots, IMO.

I like Stephen A. Why are people down on him?

Because he is as much of a windbag as Bayless. Reads a few lines about a team or player and then walks in front of a camera and regurgitates what he reads.

What pisses me off most is the good cop, bad cop thing. None of them are capable of formatting an opinion of their own. I was a huge Deon Sanders fan, but watch for his tell when a question is posed. You will see him immediately grab for his earpiece, waiting to hear what side he is on and what he should say. He would do much better in radio.

Believe it or not, sportswise, Stephen Smith knows his stuff. He has a radio show here in NJ/NYC and he is knowledgeable.I used to really dislike him and Cowherd, but after listening to both for a while, I like their shows. Bayless i could care about, he's paid to be an idiot and say flammatory things.

I agree. Stephen knows his stuff. I really didn't like him when he first came out but he's toned down his rhetoric somewhat; now he's tolerable.

NOBODY is better at covering the NBA than Stephan A. in my opinion. He is tolerable at football and makes a few strong points. One of the worst at commenting on baseball that I have ever heard though. We used to get his radio show early in the mornings here, it was actually quite good.

Skip is the always the villain, and wears it pretty well, all things considered.

I hate here that Mike and Mike have the early show, then you guys get their broadcast. KIRO AND KPUG rock after that timeslot, though.
Oh, and Smith is a Yankee homer, which is one team I may actually hate more than the niners. As soon as baseball talk comes on, I turn on ESPN Deportes for soccer news :0190l:

Man, I sooooooo hope we can get home-field advantage throughout the playoffs! It would be crazy around here.

In this video, I think its about 4:45am and they've been up since Sunday; probably slowed down on the drinking but definitely stayin' the course on the snow plowin' (if ya know what I mean). They are just yammering.

EDIT: OH snap I posted in a bayless thread. I'm going on a self imposed 12hr ban for this one.

Actually, Bayless had a very good point, and it was contrary to what most pundits actually thought.

Most mediots out there were claiming SF would be pissed about what we did to them, and would take it out on a soft Colts team (ok, I don't know ANYONE that called what the Colts did, or HOW they did it).

Bayless said he feld that the Niners were "emotionally flattened" by the Seahawks and they would "have a hard time getting off the mat for this game".

If you seriously look at the body language from Kaepernick (it's so sad, he wasn't a punk at Nevada, but Harbaugh has turned him into a bitch), and Harbaugh. Look at Jim's post game presser. Then look at his Monday presser. The guy was either bummed or still shellshocked. All of his answers were very short. Not terse or borderline aggressive/angry like Bellichik but just to the point and succinct. You can tell his ego was knocked down a few notches after that game.

Smith is ok sometimes. He tries to take a side at least, he's hardly vanilla. Bayless is just an idiot.
