As the decades go by, I learn more and more that I don't really hate the teams, I hate the fans.
It's not the Steelers' fault that Bill Leavy called the worst officiated SB in NFL history. But it is the fault of many Steelers fans for classlessly gloating afterwards.
But as much as I hate Steelers fans, Pats fans take the cake right now. They are by far the most deluded and homertastic fanbase in the NFL, and even their very best (Bill Simmons) were exposed for being insanely deluded during the deflategate fiasco.
I like Tom Brady, even if he is a douche and a liar. He's a damn good QB and a fierce competitor. I like Belicheat. His need to cheat is unnecessary and pathetic, but it also reflects on his incredible work ethic and determination to win. I did think it was kind of lame how Edelman and Blount took shots at the Seahawks during the parade. Take a shot at Bevell, fine. But at Sherman or Lynch? Weak.
But those fans, I hope they go 20 years without a playoff berth starting this year. There are not the only fanbase to win 4 championships, but you'd think it based on their insanely insular behavior.
