I’m confused with all these scenarios to make next Sunday matter. Can someone please tell me who we are fans of today? And the least amount of those teams we need to still be alive after today? I know we want the Lions to win tomorrow night so no need to include them. Thank you in advance!

The problem is that while it's possible that we won't be eliminated today, that assumes a ton of games next week go our way as well. That's somewhere between 0% and 1% probable.

For the Seahawks to "still be in it" after this weekend we need three of:
10am: Jets over Bills
1pm: Dolphins over Browns, Packers over Vikings
5pm: Falcons over Commanders
MNF: Lions over 49ers

According to ChatGPT..

The Seattle Seahawks' playoff prospects are extremely slim, with estimates placing their chances at less than one percent.

In Week 18, the Seahawks face the Los Angeles Rams. A victory is essential to keep their playoff hopes alive. However, even with a win, Seattle requires specific outcomes in other games to improve their strength of victory—a key tiebreaker criterion.

The Seahawks would benefit from the following Week 18 results:

Green Bay Packers over Minnesota Vikings: A Packers win would enhance the strength of victory for Seattle.

Miami Dolphins over Cleveland Browns: A Dolphins victory would similarly boost the Seahawks' tiebreaker standing.

New York Jets over Buffalo Bills: A Jets win would contribute positively to Seattle's strength of victory.

Atlanta Falcons over Washington Commanders: A Falcons triumph would aid the Seahawks' playoff calculations.

Detroit Lions over San Francisco 49ers: A Lions victory would further support Seattle's tiebreaker scenario.

The Seahawks need at least three of these outcomes to occur to maintain their postseason aspirations. Even if these results materialize, Seattle must still secure a win against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 18 to have any chance of advancing to the playoffs.

It's important to note that the Seahawks' playoff prospects are extremely slim, with some estimates placing their chances at less than one percent.

Making it simple, win our last game! Then I will tell the chubby lady that I shall be willing to sacrifice my body, and my marriage fidelity for her pleasure.

In a nutshell, we need the teams in green to win... 14 games between this week and next (Den already lost). Things is, all but 3 are likely to fall our way.

But the Jets are already down on Buffalo, so its not looking good.

So if the Bills win it’s over?

But why do people need to accept it? Who does it hurt for some to choose to have some small hope? I don't get why those who have accepted the reality they are choosing are so annoyed by anyone choosing something else.

Amen.

So if the Bills win it’s over?

According to that graphic if the Bills win and Denver already lost that would be the only 2 we could afford to lose. That means all 13 games in the list we’d need to go our way. It’s not likely whatsoever but it still leaves us alive for now

Personally, I was in the "it's over" camp as soon as the Rams won last night.

That said, I agree wholeheartedly with what you're saying here. Keep the dream alive, man. Doesn't bother me in the least.

It would be soo Seattle for all these things to happen in our favor and we lose to the Rams next week anyway.
That's just it. I would be a lot more upset about last night's result if that would've been the game that decided the division. But we still would have needed to actually beat the Rams. As uninspiring as this Rams team looks, we are worse. It would have required both Geno AND Grubb not to $hit the bed. That's a big ask.

There’s 3 there for sure. Dolphins, packers, lions
