I'm thinking of starting a Jaguars forum. Any advice to fool Neener fans into coming to the site?

I've got the forum software installed and have started working on the site. It'll be a couple months till it "officially" launches, as I'm waiting on a software update before I can theme the site. I'll be working on it periodically, mostly on weekends, due to my work schedule (Navy). It'll be open for registration so people can send their feedback and start discussions, so feel free to register if you're interested.

/r/NFL does it better than anyone else.

Touching on something very important here, which is that overall phpBBs are slowing dying off. There may of course be outliers (e.g. the Hawks become good or win the SB and .net has a registration bump), but as a general rule, there doesn't seem to have been generational replacement on them for at least the last five years or so.

People who prefer phpBBs (such as myself) get older, have kids, increased responsibilities, etc. and migrate off and the the younger folks who would have replaced them in the past are fragmented across facebook, instagram, twitter, reddit, tumblr, blogs, various comments sections, etc. Long story short is that population using phpBBs is in decline, and also getting older every year.

So, not to burst any bubbles or make any predictions and I'd of course wish the OP all the luck in the world, but a new & improved topic for a phpBB is kinda the equivalent of a new & improved content for a DVD, IMO.

You might want to lock down a secondary domain just in case you get a cease and desist from Roger's lawyers.

I think this should be a priority.
Your original name probably won't last long.
Just a guess tho.
