I agree....it's one thing to discuss the outside possibilities of this having some merit (although it doesn't seem to have any merit), but to start heaving blame or hate on Bennett over a rumor is ridiculous.

1) Beats his GF to a pulp.
2) Lawyer's up and pays her off
3) Has no interest from league so make up rumors that he's visiting, and that the Seahawks best defensive lineman wants to play in ATL in an attempt to drum up more interest from the Cowboys.

I don't know why that is all that far fetched for you to believe...Let's look at the facts..

1) We know Michael Bennett LOVES Seattle. He's said it multiple times on radio. He did actually take a discount to stay in Seattle, also confirmed.
2) The source on the rumour is a COWBOYS beat writer (Clarence Hill). Why would a Cowboys beat writer be the first one to break a rumor unless the rumor was somehow related to the Cowboys?
3) The Seahawks have denied Bennett requesting a trade. I've never known them to blatantly lie to 12th man.
4) Rosenhaus is the Agent for Bennett and Hardy. Rosenhaus is currently in Dallas, and the Cowboys Beat writer was the one who broke the news..
5) This wouldn't be the first time erroneous reports were made up to better someone's market.

There is no reason not to believe the Seahawks here...Until Bennett, Seahawks, or a reputable source confirmed his "request", I think it's clear Rosenhaus is in the middle of this.

Jeez, people... a guy takes ONE NAP and I wake up to this?! The report out of Texas read like a propaganda piece. Quickly veered into a dive into the Hardy thing after floating some vague rumor about Bennett.

Your post somehow accused Hardy of both.. domestic violence (a case that is looking more and more flimsy by the day) and planting a false trade rumor :lol:

I believe the Seahawks are interested, why wouldn't they be? Hardy is a Top 5 DE and if he could be had in the same manner that Avril and Bennett were a few years ago.. you'd be foolish not to at least entertain the idea.

But we're also talking about Drew Rosenhaus, a dude notorious for BS'ng teams into overpaying for his clients. Think it's pretty clear that he's trying to get the Cowboys to bite on committing more money to his client - especially since the DV allegations leave his future much more cloudy than others.

The more I think about it though, the more I believe the Bennett trade rumor is 100% made up by Rosenhaus and leaked to a Cowboys beat writer.
