I think he could be up there with some of the other good young TE's .... stats-wise I mean... if given the opportunities.

I loved seeing him get the TD, but I wanted to see The Walk, did I just miss it? or did he refrain from doing it?

I like that guy! Solid game today!
He was my favorite pick of the draft at the time. I had a feeling he would become one of the best receiving tight ends among those who are truly strong blockers. He's never going to be a Jimmy Graham receiver, and he isn't the next Gronk, but he could quietly become one of the 5 best TEs in the NFL.

I watched a lot of tape on him before the draft (because I am a dynasty fantasy junkie) and remember how much i liked his tape. Michigan rarely through his way but he was often open annd always looking for the ball in the event it came his way. I was excited when the Seahawks drafted him. He had one very bad game this season (multiple penalties and drops). I can’t remember which game, maybe against the Colts?? Other than that game, he had a great year. Good to bounce back like he did.

My three predictions for the game were touchdowns by the defense, special teams, and Barner. Two out of three ain't bad, right?

Barner is a huge part of this offense and we haven't even scratched the surface on his potential.
I like this group of AJ, Arroyo and Saubert if he's got another year in him.
All season long when the Hawks were in trouble I would often say, "Go to Barner." It worked a hella lot. lol. I think he's gonna be our next OC's best friend.

He's also a good short yardage guy which I didn't expect.
