Carroll said K.J. Wright will not be back for the first playoff game, but should be ready for a second, if there is one.

Luke Willson ran and cut today. As we mentioned prior, Willson has had a high ankle sprain before. Carroll said Willson told him the day after the injury, “I’ll play.” Carroll said they won’t know until Wednesday or Thursday of next week if Willson will be ready for Saturday.

Jermaine Kearse will be back full next week.

Russell Okung (toe) has been held out of practice and has been rehabbing all week

Good to hear that Wright should be ready for the Championship game

Willson running and cutting is good news as well...hopefully he'll be ready to go by next Sunday

Kearse isn't surprising since he was active as an emergency receiver last week, I figured he'd be ready to go for the playoffs

With Okung, it's a little worrisome, but I think that resting him now will make it easier to get him into the game next week. Practicing now could only make things worse for him.

Yeah, that is a bit troubling about Okung. Ice, ice, baby! I REALLY hope Bailey is practicing in his place. Please keep Ginger at Guard where he belongs.

I like this report.....encouraging.

No doubt, if that was for a game this weekend it would seem a bit sad, but seeing as we get the extra week that is one solid injury report.

It's also very encouraging that Harvin practiced twice in a row and wasn't limited at all today. Pete said he did "everything".

Could be really huge to get Harvin, Willson and Wright back in the playoffs. Damn!

Could be semantics but in Okung's case "being held out of practice" makes it sound like he could if absolutely needed but they are having him sit to help get as close to 100% as possible for the game. Great news that Willson is cutting on that ankle. I've seen guys walk off the field with high ankle sprains without a limp where it seems like they will be good to go right away. But the deal is they can walk or even run in a straight line with no issues but can't change direction.

That's how I see it too. Okung played on the injury Sunday (even though he wasn't as effective as normal). So I don't see why he wouldn't play on it now if there were a must-win game this weekend.

Percy Harvin 2 practices in a row and no setbacks Be still my heart! Okung will be fine this is why you fight for a bye it's a huge advantage especially combined with a home game.

I didn't want to even open this thread because i thought the first words would be:

"Harvin made a sharp cut and tore his ACL/MCL and Hamstring all at once"

This bye week is looking more and more useful. Getting the players who were injured an extra week is perfect.

Our LB corps has held up well without Wright, but that was against some pretty inept QBs. Depending on who we play in the divisional round, I hope we can get him back as soon as possible.

Nothing's more important than keeping Okung healthy. If Ginger has to play tackle, we're screwed.

Not only do we have the bye week - we also play in Saturday unlike Denver who won the AFC. We are home with one extra day to prepare - I love it. Our opponent plays Sunday and if the road team wins they lose a lot of time traveling home then to Seattle

This should all help our injured players

That's very dramatic but what's new around here. People act like Harvin fold's like a chair when he gets hit or is one of the most injury prone players in the NFL.

He's had migraines, which is something to take as seriously as concussions, which kept him out of some games.

He suffered an ankle injury in 2012 against the best Defense in the NFL as well one of the most physical in the game today. And he was limping in that game, still trying to play DESPITE being hurt.

Then he has a HIP issue, likely stemming from not being a bitch WR and shying away from contact, taking hits and deliver hits while being acrobatic and gymnastic in his evasiveness.

And because all of that Harvin just tears an ACL/MCL making a cut. Whatevs people need to get off this injury prone crap because for as much as he does on the field, he's been pretty damn durable thus far in his career other than two major injuries, one of which the coach just chose to shut him down completely because they weren't getting along.
