Hmm i know people have knocked him .. but oddly I think he’ll be better than Williams was..

Williams retiring mid season 2 days before a game .. makes me question the effort or lack there of he’s put in at all this season

To be fair it seems like the announcement 2 days before the game was the teams idea. He’s been listed as not practicing for personal reasons all week and we have no idea if he practiced last week. He easily could have told the team of his retirement right after our last game.

I would guess he may have had a medical appointment that offered news he could use a surgical adjustment and additional rehab time, but decided it wasn't worth it. I think he had days off last week too.
I think Williams is a good guy who is dedicated to his sport, and the team he is playing for. It would take a solid reason for him to give it up. He did, so that is that.
