"One area where the team is showing better progress than most will admit is the offensive line. Russell Wilson completed 23 passes--his second-highest total of the season--on 31 attempts and sacked just twice and hit only four times. Seattle is ranked 27th in the NFL in percentage of pass attempts that result in their quarterback being sacked (9.3%). That number was 6.1% on Sunday. They did it against a worthy opponent. The Titans entered the game a top ten defense in sack percentage and sacks per game."

"Seattle wound up with their third-best conversion rate at 38.6% against a defense that came into the game 3rd in the NFL in third-down defense. Seattle's offense had the best third down performance of any Titans opponent so far this year."

Not surprising. They had Unger back. Not sure that constitutes "better progress" so much as just getting healthier.

Yes, and with time, we'll have Breno and Okung back, as well. More than anything else, this has me very much looking forward to the later part of the season... there is a lot of good experience building going on now, with the current line, and that will help long term, but even better is getting our vets back.

Bowie made a big improvement in this game. I can buy that some of that is because of Unger, but I'll have to give the player some benefit of doubt.

Bowie really should be a number 1 RT or else you gotta fit home somewhere on the line. He has the ability to be damn good.

After Giacomini comes back I wonder if he could play left guard until Okung comes back, and then move to right guard? I really have no idea if this would work, some guys do not switch positions well, but if it could it might make a difference.

I'd rather try Giacomini at LT and move McQuistan back to LG if we're going to go crazy on position changes. (Of course, I'd rather see Bailey at LT most of all, but that's a different conversation.)
