So, which receivers do you like?

We seem to have only one on the roster now. Doesnt mean we have to use our first pick on one, but I imagine that's at least in play now.

I like Egbuka and Golden a lot. Those guys could be considered too similar to JSN though and we might want some wideouts who fill other roles better. Granted, it feels like some of the better offenses I can remember in recent years had a number of receivers who seemed basically indistinguishable from each other.

These are the EXACT two that my son and I just mentioned prior to coming into this thread.

We have the picks to make it happen.

Egbuka is underrated.

I think Brock wrote a column about drafting a burner.
I get some Tyreek Hill vibes watching the video.

I agree on Egbuka. He gets overshadowed by the flashy wideouts that have been brought in during his time at OSU, but he just produces again and again. I could see him having a Michael Thomas-like career.

Big opportunity for the exiting guys to show. I like Cody White and Dareke Young. I think we've got some talent on the roster already. White is a restricted FA? Of course, Bobo. Existing guys gotta show a lot more, though and more competition will be arriving.

Egbuka would be a get. Not sure I want to see them spend another 1st on a receiver though, if in fact that's what it ends up taking. Would really love to see a stud TE to go with JSN and a revamped rushing game.

I'm looking for snappy route runners. They seem to fit the west coast/Kubiak offense more.

- Matthew Golden
- Emeka Egbuka (though he might redundant with JSN)
- Jayden Higgins
- Jaylin Noel
- Jack Bech
- Tai Felton
- Tory Horton
- Kyle Williams
- Chimere Dike (really underrated)

Warren somehow falling to 18 would be a dream. I doubt it happens though. Regardless, this is a phenomenal TE draft. Barner looked incredibly promising too, which takes the sense of urgency out of finding one, but I'd still be thrilled to add another. Even if Barner continues his trajectory, Fant is an average at best TE paid like a very good TE and Brady Russell would be a practice squad guy on most teams.

I’m hoping we don’t draft a TE in the first 3 rounds.

Barner looked pretty damn good for a rook.

I’d be good with later round TE drafting…ofc, dependent upon who is available.

In this offensive scheme TE2 is more important than WR3 so I think even if you have Fant and Barner in the fold you need another TE in the wings. If an injury happens to Fant or Barner you can't rely on Brady Russell to run 12 personnel properly. It truly hampers what Kubiak wants to do on offense when it comes to running game and disguising play action looks.

So the chance that the team draft a TE in first three rounds has increased but the best value will still be in round 4 or 5 truthfully.

I'll take any of the receivers from Ole Miss (Tre Harris in the 2nd, or Antwane Wells jr/Jordan Watkins in the 7th)

Tre Harris has the size/traits/production of a WR1, Wells' nickname is "Juice" because of his speed & ability to get yards after the catch, and Watkins put up some big numbers in a couple games this season (254 yds & 5 TD's against Arkansas, and 180 yds and 2 TD's against Duke), plus has ST ability.

The one that's a hybrid TE.
Don't need to draft a WR, Jake Bobo has got this.
