He needs to pull head out. His missed kicks are costing games and the other team has kickers hitting 60 yarders against us

I'm not a big Meyers fan. I'm all for finding someone better. That's the thing, though, finding someone better. Stat-wise, he's not a bad kicker, kind of a middle-of-the-pack place kicker, actually. I have no data to back this up, but it sure seems like his misses are more significant when they happen.

Meyers always makes me nervous. I know, I know, I know...fans usually get nervous when the spotlight is on the place kicker during a game. But here's why he does so for me, and it's something my friends and I laughed in agreement about while watching the last game together. Even when he makes his kicks, all too often they're not drilled through the middle of the uprights, end-over-end. Much of the time they're hooking and have a squirrely wobble to them, and I find myself leaning on the couch hoping they'll make it through. Sometimes I don't even know if he's made it until the refs raise their arms. I'm sure others feel the same way about him. LOL

Anyway...

He's not a bum just a kicker that struggles, I believe it was Corbin that brought up he struggles in odd numbered years... 😂... I mean we could always see if Brandon Coutu available 😬... I know I've called for his release, but I realize it could be a lot worse...

I wouldn't mind a change next year. But, he's WAY down on the list of blame. They have up 38 fricken points.
With 3 starters out on defense I figured a shootout was on tap. Just need to make chip shot kicks and stop fumbling the football. Milroe needs to stay on the bench permanently

It wasn’t that long ago we would’ve wished for Meyers… c’mon our memory can’t be that short term. Blair Walsh anyone?

The D had Okada and Wollen out there, getting trashed like
UFL level defenders..
We know what we really need to be signing and drafting next year
Sure, as hell no fantasy QBOTF in the 3rd round!

Myers is who he's always been. A very inconsistent kicker. One day he'll hit a 60 yard FG and the next he'll miss a 30 yarder. Last Sunday it just happened to be a 40 yard attempt he missed.
