Not sure why, but I’ve had a zen this week. Probably because the data and trends favor the hawks in almost all critical categories.

Also, The lambs have won the last couple games by miracles (as well as a loss at the Falcons and a tougher win than anticipated against the Cards). While the hawks have been absolutely dominant.

I can appreciate nerves based on the close matchups with the lambs this season…but recent info is the best gauge and that favors the hawks.

Not disrespecting those with anxiety. Believe me, I’ve been there many times in the past. I get it and it’s not a given we win. Just looking at the stats that really matter most and it overwhelmingly supports a win.

Go Hawks and the Lambs can $uck my BALLS!!!!

No reason to be nervous. Nothing any of us do has any effect on the outcome of the game. If they lose life will go on, if they win life will go on. Only thing to do is watch the game and hope it's entertaining.

I hear ya…and my post above supports limiting the stress to a reasonable level.

But if we lose, it wont be “ho hum, life goes on” for most people here including myself. I will avoid the board for at least a week b/c it will highlight the pain I’ll relive from the hawks losing…and it hurts to my bones when that happens.

The thing that will ease the pain is our future momentum. We have the 2nd youngest team in the league and the best GM/coach tandem.

But to be clear…depression set in for a bit if we lose tomorrow.

We’re winning this game.

But, I feel you. It’s the biggest game in the last decade…vs a division rival.

I’ve been anxious…my son has too. He’s only 13 so, his nervousness is obvious to me. He’s been quiet all day 🤣🤪.

Winning out….but that doesn’t mean none of us aren’t nervous as a whore in church.
We must have identical paths. My son, 13 too, has been exactly the same. He's a hockey player so that offered a little distraction yesterday (and the Kraken will today too early) but it's quite obvious.

Today is the moment of truth.

Everything has come down to this game.

Will the Darkside Defense prove its dominance again and show that Week 16 was a fluke?

Will Mike MacDonald outcoach Sean McVay?

Will K9 go nuts again today like he did last week?

Will Rashid Shaheed give us another Kick-Return/Punt-Return TD?

And most importantly (for me) :

Will Sam Darnold show he's finally solved Chris Shula's defense (and not get fooled again)?

All the above questions will be answered later on today and I pray that most of them (if not all of them) turn out to be true and we WIN.

LET'S GO HAWKS!!

I loved ground Chuck. That 84’ team that beat Miami on the road in the divisional round I watched on a color tv 19”. I was a sophomore in high school at the time. The loss to the Raiders and Plunkett, Marcus Allen, Art Shell and company in the AFCCG was sad. I miss those days. Growing up in the 70’s and 80’s in the area
The AFCCG was heart breaking.

I'd be nervous if we were playing the Raiders. Most things for this game are in our favor, but you just never know.

The last two against the Rams were nailbiters that came down to the end. Nearly won the first despite the best efforts of the offense, and an incredibly fortunate bounce in the second aided a huge comeback. Either game could have easily gone the other way.
