So much for running it back.

Also this isn’t Junior High. If he doesn’t like Sam that’s fine to say. Making a phony list of people he wants to take to prom and putting Sam at the bottom of it is juvenile.
He's not "at the bottom" of my rankings. I was asked specifically who I had ahead of him so I stopped there. I said that in literally the first sentence of the post.

Willis, like ******* malik Willis? JFC. Holy shit. Genope is better than Willis. Willis isn't even a decent back up. Purdy is solid but he's not even top 10. put him on any other team and he's complete dogshit. He just happens to have the best QB whisperer in the NFL for a head coach. Stafford is a top 5 QB in the league.

Since everyone so desperately values my opinion on these matters, here is the definitive ranking of NFL QBs from #1 to wherever I have Darnold. Seeing as he was like the 8th best QB over the first half of the season, and about 20th best over the second half, plus a small bump for an acceptable playoff performance, I'm guessing I have him around 12th.

1. Burrow
2. Mahomes
3. Allen
4. Purdy
5. Daniels
6. Love
7. Willis
8. Stafford
9. Jackson
10. Mayfield
11. Stroud
12. Hurts
13. Lawrence
14. Herbert
15. Caleb Williams
16. Prescott
17. Mendoza
18. Darnold

18th is pretty reasonable. Some might have had Goff, Maye, or Daniel Jones higher.
20 good QBs and a top prospect named there. Some would add Nix and Murray when healthy. I'm not going to argue the order but I think most non-Seahawks fans would have Darnold outside the top 10. For certain he's not top 5.

What kind of unforced errors did we make as egregious as the kick returner letting the ball sit in the end zone, the opposing kicker missing the landing zone, or not knowing the rules?
How about Riq giving up both a deep conversion, and subsequent a TD in game 1?

How about Riq's drive extending taunting, and subsequently giving up a long TD in game 19?

How about a really dumb, poorly designed gadget play with Milroe?

All three of these were in close games, two losses and a narrow win, where the unforced error kept the game closer than it should have been.

The architects of these three unforced errors are no longer with the team.

Kick returner letting the ball sit in the end zone did not affect the outcome of the 31-17 Seahawks win.

Landing Zone error and Not knowing the rules did affect the game outcomes.

Close games happen in the NFL, as do dumb mistakes and dumb luck. They tend to even out with time, as they did this season.

don't forget Jobe goes out of the game in the SB (because he was dumb) to Woolen being lost and giving up a long TD

Thanks man. Was a nice chill birthday. Wish I was younger though 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Happy belated birthday!

I hadn't looked at this thread for a couple of days and I see it has gone off in a weird direction. Entertaining.

How long did it take you to enter all those names in your random number generator.

No team ever stays intact after a SB victory. The myth of running it back should die.

I’d say it’s likely that EVERY team is materially different, EVERY year in the NFL. Ton of roster turnover each year. The very best coaches/organizations (e.g. Patriots of the past) are able to handle it successfully. Let’s see what Mike M. and the Seahawks can do.

I was limiting myself to close games where a boneheaded, unlikely play could have resulted in a swing of the outcome. There are many more examples, at least two more from Riq off the top of my head.
