Yesterday's news. He did say he will pick Seattle to win at home "until further notice". But he's still not a believer about our road chances. Lets hope we at least split the upcoming road games.

I hope we sweep but don't have a lot of reason to think that any west coast team can win back to back games 3 time zones away going east. I know that most of you that traveled like I did for work agree that it was much better to take a redeye saturday night so you could spend Sunday getting ready for monday. Pete left a day early a couple of times last year, wonder if he will this time? They did leave for Carolina on friday afternoon/night.

It takes about a day for each time zone passed through. These guys should be flying out on Wednesdays for these Sunday 10 AM games.

I kind of liked Skip better when he doubted the Hawks... Which is to say, I hated him less.

They'll keep practicing at 10 AM, and will fly out on Friday for the 10 AM Pacific games, it'll be fine.

It's a huge improvement over the noon or 1 PM practices and flying out Saturday which is what used to be typical under the Mora, Holmgren regime.

They don't need to completely acclimate to the Eastern time zone, and flying out Wednesday would be a hardship. They don't need to be effective at 8 AM Pacific... game is at 10 AM. Just the simple act of regularly having practices at full throttle at 10 AM will go a long way towards solving slow starts on the East coast.
