I'm not trying to compare Sherman to Lunch from the Whiners, but both are really competitive and seem to love the sport whether playing, talking about it etc. JS can't seem to evaluate interior players and for years has made dumb trades for guys that don't do anything. We lose draft capital and compensation picks when he does that. It would be interesting to see what RS could if allowed to draft and sign FA. Any thoughts?

OMFG. NO.

Just NO.

He seems to be such a fan of the 9ers - maybe he can go drunkenly kick their door down.

Absolutely not.

Sherman takes over as GM. First trade… K9 for Cmac.

Claims he ‘didn’t know’ while SF goes on to another SB.

😜

Edit - note I said goes on…not ‘wins’.

A drunken, spouse abuser, loudmouth? No thanks. RS had great on the field talent, and he's OK at podcasting, but that's far as it goes.

I suspect hard lessons will eventually "grow Richard the **** up". It hasn't yet though, he's trouble as he's very likely an alcoholic.

People who aren't alcoholics, rarely get a single DUI. To have multiple is an almost sure sign of alcoholism. I suppose many "functional alcoholics" do find success in life, but the drinking problem always haunts them and taints their life until they deal with and overcome it.

I pray for Mr. Sherman, I loved him as a player and like him as a personality, but he has to get himself help, before I'd ever trust him in a serious position of responsibility.

Im still a believer in Schneider, but if we were going to move on, sure. Sherm is a smart guy and it would be very entertaining.

I think Bezos will probably acquire the Seahawks within the next 2 or 3 years

This idea is certainly out-of-the-box thinking, and has provoked some interesting reactions.

But as much as I like Sherman, the job requires a lot of skills that he hasn't displayed: organization, planning, collegiality, and the ability to work well with others. Scouting is another skill that requires a long time to nurture.

I wouldn't want Sherman anywhere near the Seahawks front office.
Agree.

I don't know how the OP thought up this idea.

Sherm, please stay with Amazon - and stay away from the Hawks.

If you think Jerry Jones is a good GM, then yeah hire Sherm. But no thanks in my book

He starred for one of the most cohesive defensive units of all time.
