Especially where they were drafted, one spot difference. And BOTH converted WR's. Pete figured he might have himself another Sherm, and hey, if he's anything close to Sherm in his prime? Incredible draft pick.

Sherman actually said that too pregame on the field vs the broncos. Pete was talking to him about footwork and how her use to work on his and if he could woolen and Sherman said he’s another me but faster, much faster or something along those lines.
I like that Pete is keeping the former core guys around to help out in any way. At some point, I'd like to see them get a nickname that doesn't mention the legion of.......
They need their OWN identity. LOB was one of the best defenses of all time. Kind of a tough comparison.

We have a Kam like figure in Adams, that is if he could stay healthy. Diggs is also decent. Brown and Woolen should be a formidable combo when Brown is back.
There will never be another LOB and we shouldn't look to the past. We could build a good defense with components we have. We just need to revamp the front end.

IF Adam could stay healthy, with a young free safety, plus the trio of Tre Brown, Bryant, and Woolen, we may have the most feared. Digg's 29, need to prepare for a replacement, they don't last forever.

That's true, but we don't need a replacement right now. We could probably ride Diggs for at least one to two more years.

Sherman was the shit in the day - but I never took him as particularly 'fast'. Cagey, Wiley and moderately fast. The TIP was smart, not speed as I recall - but I'll have to go re-watch it - it's been a while. I remember the Andrews interview as much/more than the TIP itself. Her expression was priceless.
I would agree that Woolen seems faster. He seems more 'solid' to me too. And honestly - love me some sherm - but he seems a bit weird on the broadcasts. Trying too hard.
Anyways - GO WOOLEN. GO WALKER. Geno for Prez!
