I think bringing Shelby back to help round out our defensive line room would be a good idea. Obviously not for what he originally signed for, but for the vet minimum if he doesn't have any other offers? Absolutely. He wasn't the most dynamic player, but he was a solid rotational piece. And his vocal presence, veteran leadership and overall demeanor was very commanding and influential to many of the younger guys. You need that on a team of young pups. You can't have enough guys who give maximum effort and demand the same from their fellow teammates.
