No I'm not trolling.

21 yards per game turned into $17M per year?

Most overpaid WR in NFL history. Not a joke. We now have the most overpaid WR in nfl history.

Anyone who says 21 yards is worth $17M is the troll

Let’s see what his 2026 numbers look like and we can revisit this

We all trust JS - this is his second round of 'season after a Super Bowl' and I am 100% certain he's doing everything (or really close to it) damned near perfectly.

I love Rasheed. Giving this more thought (while suffering through gf movie), it seems that Rasheed's basically a 'new position' that doesn't have a pay scale defined yet: a combination of super-stud return specialist, end-around guy to make the running backs more effective, deep ball threat to make Kupp and JSN more effective, and hopefully, a legitimate wide receiver who gets 60 or so targets this season.

How many unique positions are there like this? McCaffrey is the only one who comes to mind.

I've heard that if you replace. "x.com" to twitter.com, it wil make the link as it should be..

Thats just wonderful news... I can hear the collective groans from the other NFC west division teams from here.

Now, spend the summer at Donalds house...

I get where you are coming from and don't think it's an irrational criticism. I would have rather had a proven MVP RB slightly over budget than a specialteams standout pulling in almost the same money / year.
Especially when Horton looked pretty dynamic as a returner when he was healthy and showed legit #2 skill as a real WR.
I LOVE Shaheed. But he is a track guy turned WR. He doesn't have wr instincts as a core skillset the way someone who has been playing the position their entire lives does.
However, thats not to say he cant get better. And he will absolutely NEED to get better to warrant the uptick in coin.
But maybe they dont need his wiggle and will rely on Horton to be the 'WHO' in the question of who is on the field most between shaheed and him opposite JSN. Shaheed as a deep threat is money. Let Horton grow into our other everydown threat.

We didn't sign a WR. We signed a WR/KR.

In the regular season in his 9 games with the Seahawks, he had 98 yards per game when you combine his receiving/rushing/return stats. We don't have another returner who is nearly the threat that he is - I'm not counting Horton because I don't count on Horton coming back soon given the complete silence about his status. I also think this signing reflects that status, I don't think the team is confident he will return and be productive soon.

And, I bet McVay is screaming into his playsheet right about now. :)

So the Rams sign Trent McDuffie to cover JSN, now all you have to do is have him split his time shadowing Jaxon AND Shaheed, yeah, good luck with that, OH AND! here comes Horton!

Are you denying that he sucked as a WR for us last year? He sucked. 21 yards per game. HE SUCKED. He didn't even come close to being good. He FLAT-OUT SUCKED as a WR.
Darnold flat out missed him on multiple throws were he was wide open. Including the Super Bowl. In New Orleans he had 45 catches for 490 yards before coming over. He can put up the same numbers here.

This is a win. He was internmental in our run.
I know it sucks loosing K9. He was a beast the last half of the season, but his entire career to me seems like its built on potential and flashes of what could be. The question is does he regress to what he has been, an average rb with amazing burst and flash plays, or does he transcend to best in league RB?
Shaheen is much harder to replace and WR are getting insane contracts.

I know I am definitely on the other end of this but I thought Rashid was more important than Walker. RBs are a dime a dozen. For the most part. I get it that KWIII was special and he definitely was. But it's easier to replace him than Rashid, IMHO.
